  1. Well I suspect his agent will be in the dock as well as Liverpool. Do you have any good claims lawyers? you must know one. I want to make a claim against Liverpool FC as their tapping up has made me unwell and stressed, I got whiplash as I keep banging my head on the desk as Im so upset, which has in turn damaged the designer desk. Liverpool have admitted they have done wrong so its just a case of agreeing the compensation. I reckon £1m will be a fair starter.
  2. Im sure that info is from reliable sources
  3. The fireworks parade hasnt started yet,
  4. yeah but did you have to get a Student loan for that?
  5. Hargreaves Lansdown today 9. Cryptocurrency Bitcoin had a rough start to the week It's a rough start to the week for bitcoin. The cryptocurrency trades down 10.11% on Monday, at $2,275 a coin, a one-week low. The action seems to be a continuation of the selling that developed on Wednesday, when rival Ethereum flash-crashed from $296 to 10 cents before recovering its losses. This seems a very dodgy investment IMHO
  6. perhaps we should give free Uni education like the Scots. Im all for it, as long as it is on the Scot model. Only 15% get in and must have at least 3 grade A's to do so.
  7. he didnt compare us to his beloved WHU, who I suspect have spent a lot more and won nothing either.
  8. I suggest that the middle Englanders will have had a bit of a shock and make sure they go and vote next time. It will be on a knife edge and could go either way. Labour are energised and they have a mindset that they won, even thohgh they lost by 60 seats. If ever there was a time for a Macron type figure this isit as many of the Tory /Liberal/ Centre Labout vote is disenchanted with any of the leaders. Phillip Hammond has done himself a little bit of good by his speech last week but there is little choice if you are not Left wing
  9. To be fair the majority who did or did not vote, given the information now would get a remain vote. Poeple have wised up too late to what they were voting for. 10years time we may be delighted with the result but at present it looks pretty precarious. Had we not had the Brexit I suggest Corbyn would be now a beackbencher again and would have been decimated in the election, but the unjust feeling by the young made them get up and vote
  10. that is fair, kids will have watched other kids cheering Corbyn at Glastonbury and think it is cool to vote for him. At present I think Corbyn is odds on to win the next vote. Once they have seen what they have got then they will learn but by then its too late. I do wonder though if the young are not quite as patriotic and feel more european than English/British, perhaps they wont care that our territories that our men have died for are given away.
  11. Tory excesses lol, I thought the nasty Tories were responsible for Austerity and cut backs????? The debt wont be wiped out it just gets put on the next generation.
  12. He may win as the kids are going to vote again as its trendy. Thats fine they will be paying for their mistake for the rest of their lives as they will have to pay for his excesses not the rich who will move
  13. A season is a long time, the position of the club changed and whilst I was looking for us to progress, there were others who felt we were punching over our weight at that stage. It was reaching for the stars to finish in the top 4 apparently. The club decided that the fanbase was in the main happy with mid table and so they budgetted for that. I accepted, with the lack of quality 8th was a decent position considering all things. Had we backed the last manager with a decent goalscorer earlier we would have no doubt finished higher. Perhaps we will be told once VVD goes that we dont need to get better quality replacement as we already had Jack Stephens and so why buy somebody. Afterall they said something similar with Austin after Pelle left. At this moment in time I will be delighted with finishing 8th or 9th, not that I dont have ambition but I fear the club do not have the same ideals, IMO they sailed once the great man passed away
  14. yes you are young of mind, there is no doubting that. Support the coach, how long is that for in your young world? A day, a week or a month?
  15. you dont have any moral highground on the new manager, you wanted the last one gone at any cost and so should support the appointment to the hilt
  16. I dont know about who is allowed to price a council job like this, I assume only large companies, but the council surely have building inspectors and regs, fire officers etc that should ensure this product doesnt get through.Afterall these people are there to protect the public are they not? The contractors will be thinking of bankrupcy and fearlful that they will be sought and justice served I doubt Tony Blair ,Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Teresa May went down to sign this off to proceed
  17. I suggest lots of things can be lost in accounts, especially with football. Is there still that Virgin Isles (?) account that the club borrowed from? I recall we had some loan from an offshore company
  18. that was because we were winning, it wasnt so frigging great when we were on a downward spiral
  19. Sometimes a username is apt. I hate few if any people, I dislike a load though. If you think the names bandied around are likely to produce more than what we had then good on you. Personally I feel Puel was treated badly by the club and fans. Our fans used to have the moral high ground with managers and players deserting us, we gave Puel a season, not even a year. The board only got him a decent forward at the end of the campaign, and he had to use the thin squad we had. Look further than the manager for our disappointing football. To me Pied and Gabbiadini look pretty good and Boufal may become a star player, those were down to Puel. He blooded a few youg players and at times the football was superb. We are now asking for the whole lot to be started again, its madness and also a reckless risk. So far it has worked, only one bad appointment and all we have gained can be swept away in a season.
  20. I think it is sad that the players dont show a modicum of respect for the fans, especially when they see the bitterness between our fans and that club. Why is it always Liverpool, they have won or done anything for years. I could understand if it was Man U, City or Chelsea
  21. Eric Martin, Gerry Gurr
  22. Thanks although its a bit unreal to me. Needs young brains to work the concept out. The 51% attack is something that has happened less than a year ago!
  23. I didnt call them snowflakes, that was from elsewhere. Some kids are fantastic some are not, but that has always been the case. I just dont think they are quite as streetwise
  24. DT you and keepers lol.
