Antiques Roadshow finds programme's 'most valuable' item

I know a couple of the people on there and will ask them what it was. -
I wonder if the player he has had at a few clubs that he took to Pompey and loan straight out will be culled??? Strange one that,
-
CB I think that is how I felt. RK had stated he wants to get to Wembley and fires me up thinking that he was up for it and then makes 7 changes. Not as keen as he seems to my mind as it was a risk.Had we fallen a goal behind I suspect we would not have the players to turn that around. As you also concede , we do need our squad players to get some game time and so it is difficult. I hope we play a strong side in the quarters, but from now on the going is touch and go if we can get through the rounds

i think we should contact Sky sports or MotD as their ex proffessional footballers have got it all wrong about Pelle. I think they should get rid of those and put you in their place as you seem to be a much more shrewd pundit and dont miss all the things that Pelle brings to the team
-
1. Lallana was terrible 2. Clynne didn't look as assured as he was with us 3. The Liverpool pundits looking glum 4. Matching a squad that must have cost 100s millions 5. Getting a point from a goal down at Anfield 6. Lallana having the indignity of being subbed after only 60 mins 7. Watching Gastons smile and real joy 8. Manes interview, what a wonderful and decent person he is. 9. Ward prowes contribution all ll in all a decent result add Sherwood the smarm being sacked and it's been not a bad day

She should have been disqualified. It is hardly giving us the moral ground when our own our downright cheating

I once donated 10 pairs of Saints tickets on The Saint radio for people who couldnt afford to go....it was as the club were about to go into admin and so it could have been seen as very uncharitable to put them through that quality of football -
All the replies to my posts are fair, but the points do not take into account that the ball was 50yards from goal. It was hardly like Yoshidas back pass that immediately left the player one on one, but we had at least 6 outfield players behind the ball at that stage. There was more than one player responsible, reading the match thread it seemed that we were lucky not to concede much sooner. Anyway it's gone now and if we don't finish in the top 4by 2 points I will point at Kelvins terrible kick that went 50+yards for that

No doubt you are correct. No doubt the fans attitude transmits to the players. I agree it is wrong that we have such a poor selection of keepers to choose from, but to blame KD for the 2nd goal on saturday when the ball was in the opponents half and it still was passed twice before it got to the forward is pretty harsh. The keepers lot is a tough one, and KD has had a tough time considering he has been an fantastic servant to the club. Perhaps im too loyal to a player who stayed and helped us get to where we are, many a time i remember him being the motm in the those bad years and so now feel he deserves a bit of slack. he never really got a chance to perform in the PL in his prime and so has been judged when behiond some rubbish defences when he did. One season with a terrible Sunderland side and then a couple of games when Yoshida and Fox were a major part of the back 4
-
i wasn't there and have only seen a sketchy bit on to, but you fail to mention out 2 midfielders who stood make without making a challenge, when it looked to be in their favour. the ball was over 50 yards from goal and the midfield and defence failed in their jobs. Kelvin has since day one had a large amount of fans not rate him and stood back in the shadows until they can then come forward and stick a knife in his back. He came to us with morons from Sunderland forums much like some on ours telling us he was a goon, whatever he did he was never going to get a fair ride here.
-
It is amazing that KD kick was so poor that it took 2phases of play before the ball got to the forward to be one on one to score. oh yes and not only the kick being poor, him diving and not standing up straight ( according to to one of the football geniuses on here) was his fault as well. No doubt his kicking and actually being on the pitch has caused the Syria refugee crisis. Cosmics post above is absolutely spot on, Lallana jumping ship etc is probably correct, we would only take loyalty for granted. No doubt KD is now not up to being a PL player but he has never not given us 100%
-
Batman if you wait long enough any player you dislike will give you an opportunity to make a swipe. I suspect you would find fault in the brazil side of 1970
-
as for point 2, that is not the reason he didnt join WHU. He was about to sign when NC spoke to him and asked him to stay and be a part of the clubs future growth. i know that for a fact as at the time i had a decne contact at the club
-
Kelvin had the opportunity to join West Ham n the PL but Cortese persuaded him otherwise
-
Lol , yep stay on your feet like all the best keepers have done. Of course Vardy would have just rolled the ball into his arms. Reading the posts on here i come to th conclusion that most on here have never kicked a ball. Just go out on a five a side game and see how hard it is to stop a modern football wi pace and power. I heard fans say that the 2nd goal was down to Kelvins poor kick out, (I wasn't at the game) but the snippet I saw was that the ball was kicked to the halfway line the ball was put into an area where we had 2 midfielders and one Leicester player and their powder puff attempt allowed the Leicester player to release Vardy ( not sure where our defence was?) who then had a free run at goal

I think you missed Rallyboys irony there

I went past a wedding in Portsmouth and didn't realise til then that the wedding march could be played on banjos

thank-you underlining what i said about you. The comedy gold is your post, and for all your bluff and bluster all on here will see you for what you are. No doubt there will be caustic retorts, it is expected of you. Bash away and give it large, after all you are the legend in your own mind. I have not bothered with your posts for some time now but your claims needed to be countered. Franks Cousin and SOG will no doubt answer for themselves, perhaps you will spend time playing with their posts to try and get an angle. I know you will not find posts of me saying we are a massive club with massive fanbase, I suspect them same will be with FC and SOG. i will await the attack
-
of course you will be able to back up those claims with quotes as evidence. It would be so unlike you to make statements that were totally made up now would it?

Graziano Pelle starts again tonight for Italy on ITV4
OldNick replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
i don't think people are saying he is one of the best in world football, that must be Ronaldo, but Rooney and Costa have gone long spells without scoring, MLT Shearer Lineker went periods without scoring. your dislike or because you made statements about him have forced you into a corner and so feel you now have to not rate Pelle -
It has also been reported that the reason Pompey get high attendances as the spectators like to experience the novelty of inside toilets
-
I went onto Amazon to buy a ticket to watch Pompey and it said other customers from Amazon who purchased a ticket also bought a long length of rope and a stool
-
totally agree, he gives his all. Sadly there are fools around who cant see what he gives us

personally I thought the ref did OK, it looked a penalty in realtime and a weak ref could have taken the easy option by giving it.A massive call. i was moaning about him booking ours for 1 foul and Ramires not getting booked until his fourth. The ref wasn't looking at the the shirt pull to be fair. I feel he is not a bad ref
