Both decisions were correct IMO. Even Clasie didn't complain

a more clinical forward and we would be in front. We do look as though we could still get a fair result. Utd have the top quality striker who made the difference. Our lack of height in the forward line may be a problem, but I will give the team a chance as they look the better side until it gets into the goalscoring positions

When the window closes we will see what ambition the owners have. It is not my business to make the plans for their commercial enterprise, Iam just a loyal customer that feels a tad unhappy.

It depends on the owners ambition or plans. If they just wish for more of the same nothing will happen, you will be able to brag how you saw us finish 6/7/8 or even 15th. Enjoy, hopefully your way is right and we sustain a mid to high table finish forever more. Yep that will do us proud.

I would have thought if you have a house on an estate or road where they are basically all the same Purple Bricks would be ideal. Surely the problem comes with properites that are of high value where a smart London or local estate agent can do the work. If you are not experienced selling it is so easy to say the wrong thing innocently whch putss the buyer off even though it was not really an issue. Im not saying you have to deceive or tell lies but innocent things that dont seem important can easily deter a buyer. An example was that we were looking at a high value property and the vendor said to us that the next door neighbour was a drummer with a chart topping band, thinking that would enhance the property when it alerted us to a possible nuisance. Fprtunately for both of us, we took it on board but decided it was not a problem. It turned out that way and we are friends now. My biggest gripe with estate agents is their lack of follow up. I dont worry if the person looking doesnt want the house but just to get their reasons why and so then seeing if there is a pattern. Another thing is remember the public will mislead as much as an agent.

Yes you carry on picking and choosing to back up your lack of ambition.If you wish to focus on clubs much smaller than us, I will choose clubs bigger than us and to point at Chelsea and Man City who also were in the lower leagues, I doubt their fans relaxed or showed their undying love as they were finishing 6th or worse. There is no magic bullet but lets have a bit more ambition than 6th.

i think you can see the folly of the buy British by your reply. I fully agree with the Brexit regarding the politics in Brussels but the thing that effects all our lives is the economics, and we have shot ourselves in the foot.

thankyou for those 2 quotes you posted as they are spot on. Who finished 6th 7th or 8th 3 years ago , 5 years ago 10 years ago? When I was a kid I knew every League and Cup winning team for each year from 1969. I had the forlorn hope our name would be amongst it in the future, luckily I saw it once. IMO fans accepting 6th as some kind of miracle is doing us a disservice. Do you not see that trumpeting 6th sends th message to the club that we will accept little? Yes winning the the league is a dream too far, but it is better to ask for that than to accept 6th is the glass ceiling. As we all know now the glass ceiling was Champions and the club missed that opportunity by sending the come and get me message.
