I'd prefer Scott Sinclair, he is a wasted talent that if in the right surroundings could still be a top English player

The best thing the Board can do right now is.......

Sell Al and LS then turn their phones off. Both are now damaged goods and we can invest. If the exodus stops with them then we can recover. -
I wonder how long it will take for the Scallies up there to make Adam feel at home
-
Yep could do yet, but he has already been made to look a bit foolish in his statement about no player sold until manager is in place, let alone the ice hockey manager does more as he has to make subs all the time

Does anyone still believe we will be competitive?
OldNick replied to Frank's cousin's topic in The Saints
We just need to get some stability very quickly. Sell the 3 and then let no more go. We must keep Lovren Wanyama and Morgan. We then have a basis to build on again. The sad thing is that seeing a mainly English team that was a credit t us will now be mainly foreign -
He will regain his fitness here playing a few games to make himself sharp again and prove the injury has not been terminal then the Jan window will open. Of course he would have been on England duty by then as well so the likes of Gerrard or whoever can tap him up, simples

All fair points, I don't want to go down the. Pompey route and pleased that at least we fans are considering budgets above big players.
-
are you certain MP would have gone if NC was still here. If not do you also feel everything would be unraveling as quickly as it seems now? NC departure IMO helped make a lot of decisions now. However much you might not like it, the players brought into the dream as well as MP. We lost the driver , and the coach lost its way up the winding road.

perhaps the board are calling Liverpools bluff. Things could turn very quickly positive if the board indeed comes up trumps
-
Stevie Gerrard been talking to him for months!!!!!
-
did LS just happen to have a head cold yesterday and not play for England, so that he didnt get an injury before his medical for Man U.
-
and if the Lovren rumour means him going as well? I understand why we are selling 2 or 3 but making statements like nobody will sold until manager is in place etc makes you lose faith in anything they say
-
Hi Foxy, did I miss the list of managers that were going to be released to the fans? not that i want that
-
Thats exactly what I was thinking yesterday. Of course we had Micky Channon to worship as Ron left
-
We struggled to beat BUrnley last season and. Leicester will be decent,QPR will spend to stay up The league is stronger than last
-
Add to that you will need to integrate a lot of new players
-
RL would get over it, he is a professional. If the right man came in he would still try. I understand why he is going, it is the fact the club have stated no player is going, it will be on our terms etc etc and the first time we cave in
-
50m would be too little as we won't be scoring, and so we can't afford to let goals in
-
Lovren is probably the most important player in our team, to lose him would be a disaster.
-
they fell at the. First fence of the Grand National, 'no player will be sold until a new manager is in place'
-
The fact that the board have caved in to the case of they don't want division between an uphappy player and the club, that has made an unfortunate president. Now where's that Krueger avatar that seems so popular
-
at the end of the day does it matter how much we get for him, surely it is about losing him
-
whoever comes in and has to integrate 4-5 new players into the squad and at the same time keep us up, i wish good luck to. Losing charismatic older players as well as star players is sending shudders through the fanbase and no doubt the players left are not enjoying the summer break
