  1. He is a massive Liverpool fan as well apparently.
  2. im not sure when the building was built but i suspect the fire regs were different then. I think I saw that also it was stated that some of the columns cladding had deteriorated and left exposed
  3. but it depends from what height, if you said it was from height the answer is different but if 100kg of dust hit me on the head it would kill me the same as a lump of concrete. Is your point that thev whole building was dust as soon as it started the freefall?
  4. I think you will find it was the type of material that under pressure crumbles, the weight of the building above would be tremendous and downward pressure pushed the sides out as it collapsed. Mine is not a scientific approach of course
  5. I find it remarkable that people with some intelligence can see how such a major crime could be covered up when many people who would have to have helped and then stayed silent. ok if it was a one bloke with an umbrella who spiked another with poison then i could believe, if it was Dr Kelly being murdered instead of committing suicide again, but flying aircraft into buildings (missiles) and placing bombs then i find that impossible. Oh and what happened to all the passengers and staff of the aircraft that the famillies still mourn....oh all actors
  6. if it was a nucleur bomb as per an earlier post, how come there were any survivors on the floors who had to jump?
  7. I assume you have never posted after having a drink or 2. To make it seem somebody has a drink problem as they owned up to having some on occasion and then bigging up the problem is pretty low and Im surprised that you like Hypocondriac have stooped to such low levels. Not far away from poking fun at people in wheelchairs or any disability. Argue the posts not peoples frailties if there are any
  8. i think Lovren is more important than the other 2 leaving. If the club sold Lovren for the 8m quoted it would be madness. We NEED to keep him
  9. If the club sell so be it, as long as we keep MP and he is happy that the club sell and we use some of those funds to replace I can handle that. I think a lot of AL but until he learns how to put his foot through the ball and get power in hs shots he will never make the next level. Yes he is superb in all his other attributes but to be a real top player you need to be able to strike the ball
  10. Lallana is on a stag in Miami, i thought he was with the England squad! Has he been given special dispensation not to go with England/
  11. That would be good, but the difference is that clubs know that you get a. Bloody nose when you eventually prize a player away
  12. Perhaps his treatment of NA was severe, is there an easy way to sack somebody for a better option? Dont forget we did NA massive good as well and i suspect he is quite wealthy due to his tenure.
  13. i think that is correct, similar to RL days. the danger being that our team lose focus and the desire wanes a tad. The squad gets watered down and our lack of quality means we end up in the lower echelons of the league or worse. Mid-table safety and some cup runs are Ok by me
  14. Steve, there were people who rightly or wrongly had their privileges taken away, some posted on here in the past, ex-players also. I dont think its right to name people.
  15. I dont think they made too much noise about it as that would be churlish. Some peoples noses were most definitely put out of joint about it.
  16. they found bits of engine in the pentagon as far as i recall
  17. when ML first took over at the club, the decision was made that everyone had to pay. Free tickets were no more, i know as i used to get some at times
  18. i for one was not at all in the CL boat but I felt that NC's rule of iron was getting results. Ok so some were upset that their free tickets and old boys club had been disbanded, the results on the pitch were superb, for me as a fan is more important
  19. Crabby, the way some employees rang the ex-players as soon as it seemed NC was gone was strange. To rush into something so unimportant at that stage showed the focus was gone. Iam still astounded that Krugers comment that he was surprised how little a manager does during a game compared to ice-hockey as they make substiutions all the time, was glossed over on here. If Clive Woodward had said something similar there would have been 20 pages on it by now. It is so Wilde bunch the way they are greasing up the gullible waiting to ram home while the attention is elsewhere
  20. without a doubt
  21. Did he quit? i thought he was pushed, perhaps a bit of both
  22. Dont all CEO's in the private sector and heads of departments in the Public sector use other peoples money? I would rather have an NC dealing with my cash than the majority of public sector and private people. He saw an opportunity. put it to ML who saw the asset. It is amusing how quickly so many are turning on him. To a lot of people he has helped have 5 good years of supporting our team, to now turn on him whilst being hypocritical how we enjoyed the fruits is pretty sad
  23. I think it would take more than 4 new players to make it to CL and to keep the players we have but also invest another 30-50m is not fair to be expected of KL. I would be happy for the club to keep the manager and sell the 2 but to reinvest some of the incoming funds on replacements. At present it seems we are getting the worst of all worlds
