  1. I think the board made a mistake in not taking the money while they could. I don't think we can play hard ball on him now. Potentially we will get back a player who is disenchanted , and perhaps like. MLT when his England dreams got crushed became a shell of the player he was ( not that I put AL in MLT bracket)
  2. they are not teeth they are tusks. He couldn't go on safari as the poachers would be after him
  3. but Frank since I have followed the Saints the best players have been sold on to bigger clubs. I can't see how we can change that. Perhaps if the players are brought through from a very young age they might feel more loyal to the club but having agents on their case 24/7 will unsettle. players want to win things and I suspect they will not get much opportunity here. As for agents , they are abig problem, their greed to squeeze every penny out of a players potential is detrimental, IMO so many players lose their way when they start advertising campaigns or promoting products. Their eye is taken off the ball, it seems mad to me that they earn so much and then have to drive up and down motorways to film shampoo ads or the like. It is pathetic, don't they know they have more than they need?
  4. Am in Italy at mo and they don't seem too bothered more interested in the manager
  5. I bet Trevor Cherry, David Peach, Paul Hart would crap themselves if they had to play against Suarez
  6. very sensible and lovely approach to life Lou. I know it must be difficult when a drunk or sleazy bloke makes advances, men do loathe seeing that as well, we have all seen it happen. Invariably though the women rejecting him makes him look a tit and they slink off. I take on board what you say about the nuns, but do you like to see half naked men posted on the advertising hoardings and have a little giggle about it with your mates? Sex sells and the reason for that is that most of us think about it.Although I do wonder if some on here are beyond procreation
  7. he is worth 2or3 times that to us. We need a good defence and to lose th kingpin would be a disaster. He is vital to us this season. Having Jose, Hooliveld and Yoshidas as our centre backs is daunting
  8. are you really a male? I have had you down as female all along. I do wonder if people ever get laid these days s for a single man it must be impossible how to know how to approach a women without them feeling intimidated or having an accusation of sexual harassment thrown at them. Iam not suggesting any woman should be intimidated or feel threatened in any way but harmless banter from either camp seems to be now frowned upon.
  9. we wish for the current members to buy more shares Lol Talk about squeezing them until they are dry.

    Lukaku

He is not first choice for us, there is no way at present he is an International player yet
  11. Having the Royal family has kept us stable and in times of crisis they have been a focal point. Watching the TV last. Igbo and seeing that the free democratic Europe is having a leader none of us has heard of makes democracy a joke. At the end of the day we are powerless whatever the system.
  12. Lol even their penalty spot sales are dodgy
  13. Ah, I was not aware they have lost their crown of hit makers.
  14. I'm sure there is a very valid reason, but why did noneof the helicopter try and land on top of the building to try and help? I assume the fumes and heat but in Hollywood the 'we don't leave any of ours behind' always seems to win the day
  15. Perhaps the 600 families from Southampton who lost loved ones may have a theory
  16. to be fair there are only 2 Pompey penalty spots in the world wheras there must be 50 or so Snow Leopards. If you own the spot can you take it away and just leave a bit of mud where it is placed. If so I might go and buy it

    Lukaku

it is depressing to think that they are the 2nd options. It does not make Clynes inclusion as the correct choice though. I hope Clyne improves that little but more next season. I suggest that Clynes World Cup hopes disappeared at WHL last season where he turned our likely victory into a defeat by one terrible error when Roy was watching

    Lukaku

I do dent that, he obviously did not do himself any favours in the England under 21 competition last summer. As has been stated many times he has been kept out of the Saints by Chambers and so in theory not NO1 in his club team. I do like Clyne by the wait but not bias enough to think he is better than Johnson.
  19. Is not about the words IMO but the pride of representing the country. If it is about a catchy tune we could get Stock Aitkin and Waterman get one for us.

    Lukaku

all due respect Gemmel but forums!!! Some on her think Cork and Clyne should be playing for England ffs. Lukaku would be a massive signing for us IMO.
  21. Sadly it is a wake up call for Luke, as he will now be patently aware that being a top star who I'd now in the goldfish bowl of the media. Never again will he be confident that his life partner/girlfriends are with him for who is is. The price of fame.
  22. I wonder if a player got international recognition while playing under Hr he may get a commission in his contract as their value would be enhanced. I doubt he would then encourage them not to play if so
  23. you sound like a Wolfie Smith to me. Women look at men in a sexual way ,(not all of course) it's nature.
  24. I watched the Beatles tribute last night and thought that Paul McCartney is looking ore like Harry by the week
  25. Mother Nature I'm afraid. Please don't tell me women do not look at men as sex objects as well. Unsolicited abuse is wrong, but all this high and mighty men are all ba###### nonsense does get on my goat. Most women want to be attractive to other men, and the girls you see wondering around on Saturday nights with very little on is not to attract compliments from women.
