Yeah but Fleetwood are 2nd in the league and so used to big games and cup finals, can I be the first to say Fleetwood, Mack. Dd you see what I did there? Clever eh

My neighbour a massive Liverpool fan (Matt Priest of Dodgy..oops name dropping there) texted me and fair play to him said we deserved it

only scored 3 all season, we are doomed......................................................lol

that phrase has caused a stir. It was stated by a UKIP mp. I have little time for UKIP but to sack the guy for that is ridiculous as it was taken totally out of context IMO. If you listen to it he said it with mirth and the women there are laughing along and took it as a joke. It came about as one of the ladies in the audience saying she had not cleaned behind her fridge and he then made the comment. Harmless and if people are getting het up about that then the worlds gone mad.

Should MP be sacked if we don't get 3 points at Anfield?

My son I. Law is going up to watch it, more fool him

that is an interesting theory and could be the case.

I went into Salisbury last night for a meal, and to watch Rush at the flicks, parking my car in the large central car park. There were hundreds of spaces and left the car all by itself , I came back later to still see the car park nearly empty but cars parked around mine! (No it was not dogging) It always seems to happen, I like to park in space so some prat does not bang their door against mine and damage it. I assume it is something to do with human psychology

Is football now sterile one sided and boring?
OldNick replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
This season the league reminds me of the last couple of seasons when we were last in the PL,fear of losing and relegation. Funnily enough it was games against the likes of Bolton (guess the manager) that were sterile and boring. Turned me off the top league of football. Too much money at stake for teams to play open football, add to that that the quality players now are picking PSG and Bayern etc rather than English football ,which in turn lessens our game -
even not working, the clock is worth more than their team, I notice that they sent another player out on loan, only to then get another player in from Millwall

I went last night to. Watch it with my wife.neither of us are interested in F1. I thought it was very watchable , and had forgotten about that particular year. My wife enjoyed it but would not want to go again. The film is not too in depth but the settings and feel take you back to the 70s If you have an inferiority complex about your body don't go and see it as the guy who plays Hunt has one hell of a body. My wife's favourite part of the film. All in all worth watching and the mutual respect of Lauda and Hunt shines through. 2 more different characters you will never find. 4star IMO

i assume they will point at the African cup of nations and how all the players leave to play in that, but the leagues carry on

worth 15m + and he misses that!! Any player worth that should never miss according to SWF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxPF8X2WNt4

come on Turkish you are just trying to be difficult here. How many times have we moaned about never shooting? The fact was their keeper, the post and a defender stopped 5 good attempts on goal. I think that the ball hitting the post does not count as an shot on target either. If you have no shots on target do you win matches? The more attempts the better your chances of scoring of course

I forgot that fans polls had any relevance to teams fortunes. Cork did well last year, but there were loads of threads about Puncheon and his performances. He became more of a hero when he went off for the toilet, perhaps thats what Wanyama etc need to do, it makes their performances more paletable it seems.
-
yep and i assume that fans of other teams used Saints tenure in the PL of 27years rather than the relegation one as a yardstick
-
dont worry some will come on and Sharp would make a difference. The players like Puncheon, Cork and Sharp become world stars when they dont play. When they do and we dont win it is the players who they replaced who should have played. You should know the rules on this forum, the players that the experts on here want to play, always have blinders when they dont play. They dont miss chances, dont misplace passes or dont tackle, they are all not playing as they are keeping the Barcelona players out of the team
-
I understand being underwhelmed but comparing a defeat at home to Wigan and an away defeat at Norwich is not comparable IMO. Nprwich have been a year longer in the Pl and also spent big this summer.
-
Roger you seem to be bigging up the manager that didnt play RL. You did countless posts about RL and seem to have forgotten it now.
-
like the Keegan era? I think your mind is playing tricks
-
yes as a free kick was not given. It was not a malicious tackle. Obriens was worse but as he was booked nothing more can be done. West Ham didn't have 3of their best players and so they came to stifle.it worked. We are frustrated because we didn't score, had we done so it would have been a different game
-
Nonsense, the save from Osvaldo and especially Morgan was superb.
-
He has 1win in 4 this season. I don't know about his Spanish exploits, although I do recall the majority of his team were sold from under him and so his team struggled. I also thought Mourinho recommended him to us, and so I feel he came with some quality. As for NA , he failed 2seasons in a row not to win the title he should have done with the squad at his command.
