http://www.telegraph.co.uk › Earth › Energy › Wind Power 15 Jun 2013 - Every job in Britain's wind farm industry is effectively subsidised to the extent of ... They employed 12,000 people, to produce an effective £100,000 ... tank that has criticised the cost of wind farms, it currently adds about £47 to ... Perhaps not the energy produced but the cost to each of us

biofuels use up more land that should be used for growing food for the increasing population. Wind farms are just a cosmetic way of making people think we are doing things. I read at one time that a wind generator uses up more energy in its manufacture and erection/building than it produces n it's lifetime. Nuclear energy is really the main way and water/tidal power.

T be fair to Terry the builder the woman who valued the chairs was well off the mark to their real worth.

He may have shares in a candle company. Anyone who recalls the power cuts in the 70s will be a tad concerned about the capping of power prices. I'm sure Mr Putin and the other gas suppliers will be shaking in their shoes, I assume they will just sell their goods to others. Power prices are down to worldwide demand, the British government will have trouble keeping the price down. Of course Mr BAlls will have helped plan this great idea, we announce a price cap 2years before they are to be put into place, of course the power companies would never think of inflated their prices in the 2years before to give them plenty of room, costing the poor old man in the street more money up til then. Just another mad cap idea by politicians

yes but the cameras picked out the couple of dinlos who were anti him but failed to hone in on all the others who were applauding him. I was a snippet from May where he was talking about a player who had been out and had a picture of himself covered in money,Di Canio fined him and was right in saying the modern footballer should set a good example to the yung. In principle i agree but its the way he does it that is wrong

If Franklin Mint brought out an empty box with a Pompey certificate in it, the selling point being that it was going to be worth a fortune one day, they would pay £1000 for it. I suppose they would at least have an empty box at the end of the day, seems a better deal than what they got

Is football now sterile one sided and boring?
OldNick replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints

thats a tad unfair, didn't that Storrie bloke go to the high court and tell the judge they had assets worth 100m and provided jobs for 16000 people etcetera ......oh
-
Well if they are losing 35k pw then their losses will be closer to 1.5m!!! The HNW's will be sweating as soon they may be having less money than the ones will the paper certificates lol .

i understand why some get frustrated with people who want to sit down, it seemed at one time that the older fans used to get the seats in the stands and the lads would go on the terraces, of course with all seating the fans get mixed together. The young fans need to respect the others but of course the mix makes it harder for an atmosphere to be achieved,as the older fans don't necessarily want to do the. Congo

Again RL sublime skills are being overlooked. When he gets an understanding with Osvaldo you will then see their class

the ignorance of youth lol. I suspect the young braves who stand up now will be the 'pathetic middle aged complaining' in 20-30years time. I suspect that lady has given many years travelling supporting our team. Many of the aged people you moan about probably went through a lot more to support their team in the late 60's 70 and 80s that the cosseted and escorted fans do now to football matches . Going to away game 20-30 years ago was not like it is now( thankfully)

I do wonder why the club ever employed him, it was fairly obvious he is a loose cannon. He does not know anything about man management ,the way he treated the young keeper and Clarke
-
He will have a hissy fit and resign
