Is that really a quote from the MP!!!! No wonder the country is in the state we are in, if goons like that are our lawmakers.
-
if they have already arranged a pre pack administration then they may still come out of this OK. They are so slimy they will work some scam.
-
Perhaps a few skates have woken up to his part in their downfal and he is now holding up a bridge on the A3
-
They will be paid in full today. They have the 4m they offered the HMRC and so as they are going into admin they will use that money. If not the PL are going to help them by guarenteeing it. Of course the debt to HMRC is growing due to more NI and vat due.

The HRMC have to play it by the rules but no doubt will not let go

So in summary Pompey are not toast, and are not likely to be toast for quite some time. They will stagger on and hope to find a wealthy benefactor to keep them in the CCC. or they have slipped up and HRMC have something up their sleeve. I will be surprised if they didn't see this coming and not ready for this action. The registrar was within a stroke of the pen to finish them off for good, I can't beleive the incompetance of the Pompey board to let it get that close.. As a football fan I am happy for their true fans, as a saints fan I hope that they plummet back to whence they came and as a citizen I dearly hope that all the dodgy deals are flagged and true justice is served. Sadly I expect as Ive felt all along the best I can expect is that they get -9 relegated a weakened.

I owuld have thought that the HMRC would love to see some of this , just in case they have not found it all.

Dani Sinha? is really nice looking.

The PL have done so much to help Pompey. They have done so I do agree to desperately try and keep the PL going. They let you purchase/loan players during the transfer window, something that has proved to be patently wrong due to your financial problems. They also have turned a blind eye to the fact that you have had winding up proceedings against you and the judge agreeing you are trading whilst insolvent. I still can't believe that you are giving Storrie any lee-way, he was CEO and knew what the contracts were costing and also that the outgoings were far higher than the incomings. It was his job to then put a stop and go and sell players, not put barriers in the way.Had he been honest(haha) and grabbed the nettle when we the press were saying over a year ago that you owed 100m, perhapos you would not be where you are now.

What's the chances that 50k a week is knocked off their wage bil in the next week. i wonder if Chelsea may come and get an emergency signing and get David james. It would not be a precedent with a keeper, and he is the quality that chelsea need.
-
Remoove the players like Ohara and the other loan palyers and signings they shouldnt have had and we would beat them next time. The players would believe they could roll them over and make sure the hurt they felt on the day would be avenged. But I know what you mean
-
Is it? f### me where did that last 24 hours go!!!
-
A reply would be fine, although I would be just happy for them to be penalised severely and Brum given a bye.
-
I agree but if it means the defeat against Pompey could be officially erased from the records all the better. They fielded players on the day who should not have played. " of them scored and changed the outcome, add to that an illegal player. What iff it was the Cup semi final or the world cup final would you be happy if the winning side won in the same terms. The FA cup was always about even chance, and fair play IMO

the staff al will get paid, the reason for this is that they had about 4m they offered the HMRC. Now they are going into admin they can forget the HMRC's for now and try and lookas they are solvent by paying the staff.
-
Hold on my ITK friend, you came on and stated when it looked like you were going out of business a similar thing, but before going into admin. Now you have yet again moved the goalposts..what a surprise. I have no doubt that you will be bought in admin as there are too many people who have vested interests in you staying alive. Not due to a love a the club, but love of their own money. It is not your fault that you have a bunch of chancers running the business but you should show a little shame that once AGAIN your club has ruined many peoples lives and many of those people are your own fans who have small businesses. Pompey will IMO be bought out of admin but only due to the fact so many people including the PL have bent over backwards, and that is only due to the fact htey want to keep their old boys club going. You are going to get 2 years parachute payments and that is obviously something that interests people to look into buying you when the debts have to some degree been erased. Only time will tell whether enough has been. I will at least admit you have been sceptical about Storrie, i think it is time you woke a lot of your friends down there to the fact as well.

Well I can see that it could be argued that he didnt come on, but also a decision could be made knowing that for example, they could take off a defender and pt on an attacker. If they scored the defender was able then to come on to shore up the defence ,when that advantage was made. It is all part of tactics and assessment at that given time. The whole squad are part of the game. When there used to be only 1 sub managers had to be very careful how and when they made their substitutuions. Now they can balance it by having a group to choose from. If NC felt like it , I would be amused he made an objection and asked for a replay. At least it would highlight yet again how they have been bending the rules.
-
Perhaps as he is a Spurs fan , it is time for all their tie ups to be erased
-
Is the FP entraceway a listed building ? If not I'm surprised as the local authority could do so to put a spanner in the works of the developers.
-
I have not seen it posted, but SSN had a reporter on who said that the PL have said they will honour the next 2 seasons parachute payments as well as the last tv money , in total 37m whatever happens. Now at first it seems a lot of money but of course if Gaydamek and the HMRC are owed more than that, they are not out of the deep water. I think the HMRC statement/reaction could be pivotal, a lot of ups and downs still to come for them it seems. The wages and administration bills will also become part of money due to Chanrai of course as well. I wonder what interest rates these loans are on.
-
Sadly I have always felt they would get out of it and expressed the best that would happen was -9 this season and relegation. It seems that may come to pass. I would be delighted if this happened and also Storrie and co got their just desserts. For them to have less than this happen will be a bitter pill to swallow. I notice less of the 'they are toast ' posts today. They have obviously paid for the best minds to work this through and so they look to have thwarted justice.

Bournemouths manager has done well. I dont think any of the above would be 'good enough' for us
-
Derry if you recall you mentioned Alex Ferguson as manager (I do realise it was tongue in cheek, althugh with some on here !!!)and so I followed on from there. As always we are both close to the same thing (except KD) and want the team to go on from here.
