  1. 5 or 6 pints of brandy perhaps
  2. after Hillsborough Bradford Heysel and pre the PL hype all clubs faced reduction on crowds. How many S/t are you going to sell next season Ho? afterall there was going to be an increase on the 13500 on last seasons this..lol
  3. Im sure it is no different to when we are doing well. A swindon fan hung his scarf in his window across the road from my business after we lost to them. They will need to survive without their forwards when clubs come sniffing for them
  4. when Stelling asks him to count the players by his fingers that perplexed him even more as he could do the teams and subs on his lol
  5. DD that type of comment is why our fans are disliked and seen as arrogant and also why our fans are so deluded.Swindon have a solid defence, a good mobile and combatative midfield and a very good pair of strikers. It is about time you stopped looking down on clubs and showed respect, then you would be much happier in life
  6. The dj must have only done outside events or for the hard of hearing, or after spending 30 minutes in that place you became hard of hearing. It was ridiculously loud and perhaps hs enthusiasm to please flowed over. The youngsters with me are used to London and southern clubs but were dismayed at the volume and the mixing of songs as well as the inane shouts from the dj. I dont doubt he was paid nothing and like the guests he has been shafted , Im sorry about that. NI has lost a lot of sympathy as this story unfolds. As for the spin about the majority having a good time sheeeeesh
  7. I thought his main drug was 200 ciggies a day
  8. It always amuses me that the fans players when not selected will play a blinder and be the difference. You are not a manager and it is only opinion that you believe he has not picked the best team. That is football, look at the threads when we choose what team to put out and there are loads of different teams selected. Last sunday, due to AP's guidance we had a wonderful day at Wembley and tasted winning something. After supporting Saints for over 40 years I have seen us win the FA cup, the Daily Express five a side tournemont (on Sportsnight with Coleman)..oh promotion (as runners up) and now the JPT so excuse me for being defensive of the manager who gave me that wonderful moment.
  9. After watching saints for 40years im surprised you believe that we would walk any league. I have likewise watched saints for just over 40 years and accept that unless you are one of the big four it does not come easy.Leeds have been in this league for about four seasons, they are just as big as us and in fact have been in postition to get promoted but fallen at the final hurdle. Like Forest who also are a big club it took a long time. I dont concur that ML has spent a lot of money on players, yes he made a few big money signings (for this league) but it was only to cover the players lost when we went into freefall. Add the upping of performance as clubs want to put one over on the big fry and you get a problem winning easily. I would have taken safety and Wembley 6 months ago, and so perhaps too forgiving, next season I may not be if we are not in the top 8 by christmas. The last thing the club needs is a change of manager and the fans on the teams back if we are not top of the league. To be there or there abouts with 10 games to go is what we need to be and then put in the charge at the end. Ive seen too many frontrunners fall at the final hurdle due to high expectations over the years. Also we are still that not great a side as there are too many nearly players in our team.
  10. There was a combination thta cost us. First and most importantly was starting on minus 10, that was a daunting start and after 6 or 7 games it looked that we may be in a relegation fight.Once we had stabilised and got into positive territory we started to move up. The League cup and FA cup runs did not help, it would have been best if we had got knocked out of the FA cup frst round as the run became a distraction .especially the Pompey game. Add the JPT and you see it was one of many reasons. I will never regret the JPT run as it gave the floating fans the reason to support and watch us again, add the great feeling it gave not only the fans but the city and you have somethhing money can't buy.
  11. he's hardly Beckenbauer, most teams in this league have a combination of useful midfield harriers who can pass. When you have PW as the anchorman you are going to struggle. I like his heart but he is at the end of his career. Gillette would be much better added to the midfield if MS is unfit.
  12. surely not ,the majority were really happy. I think NI may feel uncomfortable at a few matches in the future as disgruntled fans find him. It is unfortunate he is unwell at present, I dont wish illness on him
  13. post the pics on here, then perhaps some of the told you so's will see that it was a disgrace, better still send them to the Echo and they might then not let NI get away with the 'the majority had a great day'
  14. Just reading that garbage makes you feel ill. I was prepared to give NI some slack but him coming on and making out the fans drunk too much!!! lol. They couldnt get to the bars to be able to. It even says the doors were advertised to open at 9 and fans turned up at 9.30. No the fans were left waiting until 9.30 for them to open the doors. COYR will never manage to get the confidence of the fans by shirking when mistakes are made.
  15. Only now thinking about it!! lol. never mind the spectators will have a laugh and they are very demanding on the night. Missiles were being thrown at Phil due to his blatant cheating
  16. We dont use relatives or payments to win games, it is blood sweat and tears. If Fos wanted to play for us then that is fine but Granty has come up with a new scheme. To be fair whoever plays will have a great night and if they have the honour of taking the field with my team of stars their night will only be superb. Got rid of your cold yet, I had hoped you were still waiting for a taxi
  17. the problem with that is that Spurs have the classic 'we will walk this' type of mentality in their squad that they could well underrate them and fall for it
  18. Fos would put the fear of god up Phils team, Im waiting for his nod and I would obviously enjoy showing him some proper leadership with my well honed management skills
  19. yep 1min 30 of fans arsing around, taken from 9am - 1pm and then up to 7pm after the game. Personally IMO there will be lots of people like myself who will moan and let it go. There is always another day and those people who are trying this new professional business COYR will find that those 2000 people will remember the episode and tell their friends who will in turn not trust anything this organisation ever put forward. no doubt the Echo will get plenty of fans giving their opinion that they should not publicise their events again. I feel that the mealy mouthed statement will not do any good. Instead of coming aout and saying 'Yes it was not as good as they hoped, we will refund any disatisfied customers if they can provide tickets' (not many would be left in possession) That would have gone a long way to appease the many who were not happy. To say that the majority enjoyed the venue is a nonsense IMO, and of course the adrenyline filled day was always going to not let this ruin our fabulous day. It is a major gaff and shortterm gain that in the long run cost them many future customers.
  20. That is as confusing as my tactical team talks. Option B seems the most likely scenario as you only have to find some glory hunter who only has to jog around for 45 minutes. Suits the9 or Baj to a tee, or even old man time Fos1 Leave it to you and see what/who coughs up
  21. A lot of sense for a change though
  22. I was told NP met the team last season at Sheff wed just to say hello and then mentioned that MM was always on his case. I don't think MM is that easy to get on with and if NP got the chance I suggest he would go. I was not his most vocal supporter but he has done very well and i do like his manner.
  23. who has the quote from AA that none of their star or first team squad would be sold pre the FA cup semi final. Lol So much for transparency
  24. Fos as much as I would love you to turn out for my side the honour of playing for me should be more than enough. You would see proper management, none of Phils namby pamby come on we are the best nonsense, and when I met Tiger Woods stuff, but the proper salt of the earth stuff like pushing in the queue for the half time grub and fighting over who has the last Rolo. Get your boots out and join the winning team, you wont need a family relative of the manager to be ref this time, but be with the skill guts and spirit my TEAM give.
  25. You've got to give it to the sculptor he certainly got a very good likeness
