  1. or Fry is trying to move the blame from him giving exclusivity to a sham instead of the Swiss. If he is inferring that he did it to get the wages paid he forgets that it is not sure how much was paid at that time.Is it alos right that he took money knowing that they would not complete, is that correct for him to do?
  2. was he ever any different, sounds like a match report of him when he played for us
  3. In our relegation season from the PL we won all our friendlies I have been told
  4. I believe it was a combination of things and Yorkie was honest enough to point that out.I dont doubt rL was devisive but to some LM LC Askham and others are also in small parts. What is paramount was the relegation. RL was in charge and should shoulder much of the blame but so should the players and management. The fans lost their faith and nerve after the Leeds game and since that time they turned and in the main never returned. Add to all the other disappointments and of course the return of the unpopular RL and it was a dxrip drip loss of love. I douby many will return, but i am not going to hold grudges, it happened, the fans who didnt turn up couldnt face to do so under RL that is their choice.I dont think they should be congratulating themselves as they nearly killed the club and if we didnt get lucky with the Swiss we would have ended up with what??
  5. Its about time you got a grip and started supporting the club Robbie. In life you cannot have everything and have to mature and realise that is the case. Support it do not keep dividing it. Wotte will be give a little time, we need the fans to be supportive as we need a positive start on -10 not having fans sniping because they dont like something all the time. You will in a small way hurt the thing you tell us you love. You have got what you wanted , a new owner now let those people who have invested their money do what they wish to do.They are not idiots they have made fortunes and so will not carry on with a bad manager if he fails to deliver. So give it a rest
  6. At least you are honest. If we had been winning more than losing the boycott would not have happened. The truth is I doubt any fan sat well with RL but we stomached it because it was our club.We knew he would not be there forever and there were some good as well as bad. sadly many fans were there only for the big time and until we get back to those days they still will stay away.Afterall we will get Im not paying that to watch pubfootball or a load of kids. That mindset will not change until those pub footballers or kids are playing Man U and chelsea. Ps Yorkie i hope you do come back
  7. This is such a funny thread. lol. Lets slap ourselves on the back and congratulate ourselves we bankrupted our own so called love b3ecause we couldnt have our own way.Not only did we we do it once and regret it we didnt learn but did it again. i also love the sermon about incomes and outgoings, telling us about financial prudence. It was the lot the first time that took over under the 'fans wishes' that racked up the overspend. Lol Carry on convincing yourselves that it was down to you it really is funny reading.
  8. When they fiind out who introduced them to the club then watch them change their tune. Lol
  9. You cant argue with the mindset of some. Let them crow as if they have been Baldrick on a bright day.
  10. I think you will find that Wotte can speak German and so would be ideal to show them around.
  11. As for s/t. I have had 1 for years but as this is allegedly a new start lets not have a division straight away. I just want to sit where I have on the Northam and hope others get them as well.
  12. trousers the non attendees shafted us all.If thewre are as many as we have been told then we wouldnt be in administration, we would have had funds and we wouldnt be -10 in L1. It has not been that clever IMO
  13. Lets hope its a happy ending. It is like standing in the middle of the road and hoping a rolls royce stops and picks you up and not just runs over you.
  14. had a message it is still Ok. have asked whether it still will be today and awaiting answer.
  15. I think you will find it was for both.
  16. The whole idea of asking somebody to pay 500k non refundable to look at the books is ridiculous.
  17. but i believe you have the wrong villain. The pulling of the plug cost RL and co more than it did others in this fiasco.
  18. I dont understand when you say MF pulling the plug!!
  19. On this occasion Alpine is correct. M Fry when he first arrived on the scene was impressive, especially in the way he was dealing with the league. I then said he was too good to be wasted as an administrator, then I got major doubts and posted so as he hesitated and did not take written bid on the table. Pinnacle pulled the wool over his eyes and his decision could have cost us the Swiss. They could easily have walked when he chose Pinnacle over them, where would that have left us then? Fry has many fans on here, you only have to see the abuse Alpine is getting to see that. When the final invoice of the administrator is published ( I assume it will be) then perhaps it will be seen how much he has earned by not being quick with his decision. May i also say it would not be Fry who found the Swiss, there would be contacts/middlemen involved.
  20. and of course when they came out of exclusivity they wheeled out 'It may be Keegan' that again bought them time as well as it would have made the Swiss hold back as they would be seen as the 'bad guys'
  21. Surely the fact that we were put into administration at that time was the kick in the guts the club did not need. We wanted to get a loan of a forward in, and were still very much in contention of staying up. Yes we may still have gone down but as soon as we got the -10 this or last the fight was gone. That decison potentially cost us our CCC status and the creditors a massive amount of money. It cost the shareholders their stake. IMO it was a very reckless decison at that time. I think that Richard Fry needs to have a hard look at himself , especially as he was in charge of giving the yes on player signings which untimately made us go into admin.
  22. well I hold my hand up, the info has not been proved correct as yet. Perhaps he has changed his mind but the news was current sunday 1pm.All had been arranged for when the WHU players came back
  23. well lets see today. Wotte should know more than me
  24. too busy biting it to talk
  25. If the swiss do take over Wotte will stay as manager
