That is a fair point, some , probably thousands went so they could watch the man u game. Still shows it was due to Lowe they weren't turning up. The sobering thought is a large proportion of supporters will only go if we are doing well. I myself have a lifetime subscription to be a fan who turns up and am stupid enough to have got the SFC in your blood tranfusion that is irreversable. Be it Saints v Man U or Saints v Unglamourous 11 i go to support Saints. I know Im a mug and get what i deserve but it is my choice. It is not a case that I believe Im a better fan but perhaps more committed than some (should be commited I can hear some say).Not as commited as our wonderful travelling fans though.

IMO he has been the archuitect of the last years of unrest.A man who kept Branfoot even though it was abundantly clear he was useless. A man who let the club nearly lose its place in the top flight as he wouldnt get rid of Branfoot and only MLT's magic and Ball getting that ou saved the day.Had that not happened we would be L2 now.Add to that his part in the reverse takeover then you may see why i think he is the face of our demise.Lowe was just his man at the front IMO

Fair points but it is easy to pick out the bad (there is a lot of it to choose from)I myself will not criticise the radio station.I liked the thought of pro saints stuff being broadcast and there would have been invisible earnings from that.At that stage we had good income and it was forward thinking.I know how Id feel if it was Pompey radio broadcasting over us.The managerr payoffs of course were expensive but the manager turnaround was not down just to RL.We had some who started the rot by leaving us.

Ginge normally I wouldnt worry but yesterday we were there to show the world our support of the club, to turn up and then desert with 25minutes to go was unworthy IMO

Thats fair, but perhaps the packages may be a clue although I do fully conceed that Lowe had made his mind up that NP was a goner.It is something that i was agfainst as you know. Bad decision made and then we had to get on with it.Keeping Jan 5 games too long was my biggest gripe. I know Im mad but I still cannot accept we are down and hope something will happen.Foolish i know but... i will still be there next season Iam sceptical that 40% of those there yesterday will be. You underline the problem that saints fans have and what the broadsheets are reported to be saying today in articles.We cant afford and havent been able to for a long time but have carried on regardless.Having 3 or 4 young players is not unusual and the ones who are counted as young are now in their early 20's except Thompson who really should be in the reserves.

Definately right, our results deteriorated the day when Kamara broke the news that WGS was not going to sign a new contract.We lost our form and from then on the squad lost its way and the rest is depressing.

I have never met him but I agree he is a most unlovable type of character.No humour no charm that I can see. He ios the target of the fans ire and as the frontman I can see why but as with the Wilde bunch we have been duped because the people who really are responsible were still sitting in the directors box yesterday.It sickens me, these people who were there before Lowe who were the people who invited Lowes overtures and made a killing, Although now some have not walked away with much, but as they are still there how do we know what deal has been struck up prior to Admin, think Freddie Goodwin!!! Littles article is awful but we have to accept we are not as a popular club that many have thought we were.There will be few tears for us.I expect many clubs resent us for sending them down when we survived by the skin of our teeth over the years. The fan not understanding about the need for financial stability is correct though. We need a team of players who are not special but a good unit.We have produced too many stand out players over the last few years that have been taken from us. Teams who have done well but made of journeymen but a solid team have done better as they dont have the heart torn out of it every season.

Radio hants strikes again.The players did not play well but they did want to win but had a very bad day and perhaps the events of the week did catch up. Wotte had little option with the players available

I try not to criticise the fans who genuinely have not gone due to their dislike of Lowe.I dont understand it much as it is a self defeating attitude. The ones leaving early are not missed. I arrived at the ground and heard a bloke talking on the pa system and thought oh no we;ve got the mayor or some fan pleading with fans, hw embarrassing and then was amazed to see LC on the screen with the mike.Then we had LM,(great at speaking and whipping up the masses, he is good at it) add this to knowing Askham was in the directors box and the day didnt seem as chipper as I thought it would be.

On a day when we as fans were showing the world how good we are. Lol. People who give up like that are not missed IMO
