Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

The fans YET again were supportive, and Wotte complimented them for it, even ITV said the same. -

So because the Swansea manager complained about our will to win aggression. We whined about Derby doing the same a couple of seasons back.I was brought up watching the Alehouse team and heard Shankley whining about us.We try and play the beautiful game the club gets knocked and then the old fashioned up and at them (Killers input??) and that is not good enough. -

Jason can you put up a transcript of his inverview because it was not how i took it.I was pleasnly surprised that the march came over so well and they werent used as performing monkeys, by getting them to sing OWTS etc. -
Was the march about RL not investing/getting investment in the club?

I dont wish you to take that the wrong way either. Well you are wrong there. There is no definative proof about PA not being there.I will believe people that I have talked with and even your mate LC admits the same.I was not wrong about the Corbetts they were shareholders and so had inputs in many of the decisions that have gone wrong in the last 20 years. In fact FF version that he was told was different than MC's own nephews when he posted here last season.I took FF version of course but that means we have to question the nephews which again is not fair. I dont attack fans, please tell me who?I disagree with some of their views but dont attack fans. I wonder when you are going to have the temerity to come back and make a formal apoloogy to the fans in your support of the Wilde bunch.A person of your standing in fans groups putting your weight behind their bid would have made a impact with some. who would think you were well placed to make a judgement.Sadly you made an error but have yet to apologise for being so forceful in a decision that has cost us dearly.

What nonsense. The players were showing desire and passion something fans have wished for.The players were up for it.The Molyneux sending off was due to stupidity.Wotton would not be drawn in his interview but the players were not happy with him for that tackle. -

Im fine with that Alps, if you give someone a chance to before making judgements. Im in the same camp, I am not at al impressed but his first few interviews and the teams desire has heartened me.For the first time in a few weeks i feel we can survive. -
he was expected to have a medical at a foreign team, I expect he was atr game saying farewwells and getting last bits tied up here
-
His girlfriend was expecting their first child and so perhaps that is why he was not there.
-
He has to be careful, but at least the oppostion know they are not going to have the freedom of the pitch.AS needs some of that to go to the next level.

I must have misunderstood the tone of your post UM.Im pleased that you will like myself will give him a bit of time.We are both sceptical but he was not making the poor tactical decisions Jan did and so we hope he will do enough. His interviews have impressed me, and the players showed unity yesterday andas i posted the other day, the mood inthe camp was good and they were talking tatics something that apparently didnt go on before -
not the most cultured or skillful of players but he added a bite and desire that has been missing for so long.Given an extended run in the side and he will become a fans hero. Swansea were not allowed to play fancy dan stuff and he was also a minder for some of our lads.MY MotM

To be fair he was correct about last season. He woould be loyal to RL who has given him the job. The wording was not meant to be offensive to the fans(E£nglish is not his first language and his interpretation is not what ours may be) because if you listened to his interview after the game he praised the fans. Ump Im surprised you are trying to undermine him so quickly, i like yourself are not overewhelmed by him but he has already changed some things and the fight fire and desire are there. Give him 3 more games to give him a little slack.I understand you associate him with Lowe but dont be fooled by LC's cosying up to some on here. -
Mixed feelings about it.The fans in general were normal football fans not the I want to get on the telly lot that these things normally bring out .LC using as a party political broadcast, and I saw Perry mcmillan at the front.I was told he doesnt go to games (apologies if my info is wrong) Wotte was correct in respect that RL was not at the club last year and we were alos in a terrible position. It was not aimed at the fans who were fantastic at the game and the only swing Lowe song was drowned out.And the normal fans starting them up ddint try so well done those. After the game fine in my book.

or its cat and mouse games to get Swansea to give a better offer.
-
Um you know my position on Jan and RL's ,mistake not ridding us of him earlier.NP may have done a better job,we will never know for sure. You and i have no access to detailed accounts of costs and where the money is being lost and so we are judgeing without knowing many of the full facts that have brought us to this position. NP would have been a better option from where we are standing and I do appreciate all the other factors, but without the facts we can only guess.the same goes for the banks, we as a nation dont know what is stored up until they come clean and tell us their toxic debt. Perhaps it is best we know neither.
-
Some of that is correct IMO, but you cannot just blame RL.There were a number of catastropic reasons.
-
You may say sensible people are happy clappies or Lowe luvvies but the majority of fans who go to games are out for entertainment. They dont want to listen to polititics it is a pastime. They rightly think that there is a time and place. The march and any protest should be IMO after the game not during. They have a right to protest but not a right to ruin other peoples entertainment that they have paid hard earned money to go and watch. I hope the march is successful and free from being hijacked by the more idiotic section of fans.
-
Is Smith our left back then? Rudi was only getting a game in that position. McLaggon will be a better asset in the long run.
-
Yes there was an in between position, something that you are re-nouned for Lol.
-
I thought you had gone, we were going to talk about you as you were away.
-
It is from that safe position you can shout and blather on. I am happy that the people on here can make their own minds up on what your position was when the club appointed NP from nowhere. Was it A) Alpine's laid back and wait and see what happens without comment B) Alpines outraged and anti club mantra. I vote that it was B ps the abuse you give me is so upsetting and so the mods should act. lol
