I dont believe that is correct, it was high under Labour in the 70's. I was a remainer and wouldnt vote reform,, but I do feel the days were better in the 70's and 80' only because I was young and didnt have the responsibilities I do have now.

Is this a parody, as I may be missing something here? Those old age pensioners who are parasites in the system now IYO, were working to pay for your education and all the other services whilst you were growing up and wet behind the ears. Providing taxes so that you could get your degrees and comfy state copper bottomed pension. They paid taxes in their working lives to get in a position to now deserve help and ther rightfully earned pension. When I first started working at 16 ( I didnt go to Uni or further education, you wont be surprised to know) we then paid National Insurance and Pension contributions, in time the gov conveniently dropped the wording Pension contribution. We paid our tax in knowledge that woman/wives would get the state pension at 55 ( ithink thats correct), in the decades that followed the goal posts were moved so that now it is 66 to get a pension soon to be 67. I doubt I will be here to see you whining about the state pension start being 70 -75 when you reach the pension age, you may then be thinking that you have the right to a pension, and may not then think that you are one of those parasites.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

A big shame is that the Rwanda scheme was stopped as soon as they came to power. It was not a case we had to send 10s of thousands of people there, but it would have been a deterrent for them to travel here in the forst place. If you actually look at Rwanda, it is a modern country where these people would have been welcomed and they have a young population who wanted them. Having 1000 arriven on saturday is incredible, the money we give France just does not seem to work and why we keep sending back the dinghys and life jackets is incredible (if indeed this is the case) When or how can we stop this flow? I wonder if Agenda 30 really is going to come to fruition ( if you dont know about it look it up, it is scary) -

I dont care who did what, but ifByrne and his note and if you say about NI was done to hurt the economy is correct both acts were disgusting as they hurt us all. Politicians treat it as a game when really it is our lives they are toying with -

A mamouth task to check each company, civil servants are stretched as it is, let alone the resources needed to check every business. We needed it then not 3 weeks later after checking at a time of emergency -

The thousands of compnies who were in the supply of this had multiple options where to sell, the Gov needed it and so had to a degree waix=ve it through. The gowns and PPE for the front line were runnning out (the news were constantly telling us that doctors and nurses hadnt the kit) , what was worse, the nurses potentiallycatching the disease or us paying too much? The Gov of any color would have had to make the same decision. It was obvious that some would benifit eg Mone. It must be eyewatering what each gown that should havebeen a fraction of a penny cost, but needs must. I would love her and the others to be convicted but I suggest there is little chance of getting the money back -

She will get plenty of money from after dinner speeches and book deals, and dont worry she will be parachuted back into a ministers job very quickly. She likes to be seen as a person of the people (working class ), as if thats a badge of honour, most people dont want to be seen as that, as soon as the BMW is on the drive they want to be middle class.
