  1. I agree but isnt it strange that it is ok to have these contingencies under some management but when GB doubled up players positions it was wrong. To me it seems different mindsets to different people.
  2. and are employing cripples who we can get cheap because of a fleeting sense of loyalty to the club because of the past, but as a result dont ask for much money because they simply want to get a game. 2 quotes from Alpine, the lower one from last night when he showed his total disrespect for the achievement and pains Killer went though. He all of a sudden has gained some respect in the one today .
  3. I admit Im closer to Scooby and Sad old git than you and am more than happy with that.YOu fo course accept the other bit as you say you agree.
  4. Or perhaps I know people at the club and they have been telling me how things are going. Killer has been feeling his knee after each game as being sore but nothing sinister. The recent bit is new and could have happened at home for all we know. He was poor compared to his usual standard against Blackpool but he was still feeling his way back after a long layoff. As with our on field results we should wait and see.If the consultant is worried it may well be the end but it may also only be precautionary.
  5. Perhaps that may be the case Scooby has a sense of humour and Soggy is a person of intellect, Id rather be by their side in the trenches than a pannicky coward who wouldnt turn up as he couldnt be faffed as it might be on Teletext. So thnkyou for putting me alongside those 2.
  6. Killer is a massive player when he plays for us. You still are in denial when you say RL pushed Davies out of the door.If we could have saold 4 more players they would have gone whoever they were if the offer was right.
  7. Phil all reasonable, and something i would rather not had happened. May I add about the day before training not everyday does the manager go onto the training ground although I do agree GB was a very hands on coach. Do you think that a company director getting bladdered is ok in professional business who is making large financial decisions is ok . Surely double standards, they are both responsible for peoples living.
  8. Ellpie, the whole squad was for sale as we needed money.Davies would be foolish to turn down the increase in salary and the chance of PL football.Surely even the most rose tinted fan would accept he was not going to turn that down.
  9. True and if having a sore knee equates to being in agony , does having a sore head mean you are in agony? It is twisting words to support his arguement. Alpine is correct that something looks sinister by why should he worry as he only rates Svennson as a cripple anyway.
  10. The lies I was talking about had nothing to do with his opinion of GB. Thats his perogative, he made claims about things I had said and they were lies and distortions of the posts by myself and of posts he made. As for Scotland being third rate we must alos realise that we didnt make it to the Euros and so have little to crow about.
  11. we went up in some limos. The motorway going up was full of saints and hardly any Arsenal.I couldnt believe how late they left it to travel and get to the ground.Thats what happens when you get too much of a good thing I suppose. I little scrap after the game but in general it was a great day out, and our fans were superb. As the game went on and Arsenal had not killed the game I really thought it was going to be our day.If we had scored I felt we'd go on and win
  12. well we let in 4 in our first game if that is f any help.To be fair Killer was not there then
  13. UMP why do you have to rely on the rolley eye emotions etc to try and reinforce your posts? It is only a distraction to some of your valid posts, and I thought you were above the 'old woman' type of comment as your sarcasm is normally enough
  14. Nice one Stu. I cant get my mind around the fact that Pompey are the best they have been for decades and the feel good factor and they still dont sell out. PES I do hope you are having a great time
  15. A very valid post until the camera phone thing. I agree if he is staggering into a elevator it would be dfficult, but if he was seen laid out drunk in a bar it would be easy.Who ever said he didnt get bladdered now and again. In social time do we expect people not to have a social life.I know a lot of people who run very successful businesses and drink well into the night but are at work the next morning. It is not perfect but it happens. In Dubai I assume it is not so easy to do such things but I suspect when in England you would know such people.
  16. Arguement semantics. No putting right your LIES and mistruths. When you get found out lying and twisting words you try and deflect it. Give us an answer to the simple question I asked about your claim that Davies was forced out of the club. You have gone abroad (Im sure your neighbours are pleased) to improve your famillies life would you expect Davies not to triple his wages, move back nearer his roots and play in the PL and deprive his family or do you still stand by your opinion that he didnt want to go and was made to leave by Lowe?
  17. Offix I cant believe you put the comment about no hopers. Wait for a while longer and then make statements like that. Cardiff and Brum home could easily have seen us get points. You can hardly call us no hopers quite yet
  18. You gave no viable financial alternatives but just some throw away ones.As I said before the manager could have been one of many but what alternative was there for the playing staff in the financial restraints we have.
  19. Have you been watching too many of his films and that is why your spelling has gone wonky?
  20. Not at all you said that I had cut bitsd out.I put up your post to prove I hadnt. The follow up posts by you were just the normal wriggling we come to expect from you. Now those questions wheres the answers.
  21. so did millions of poor souls. Her diary has been used as a warning from history.
  22. Alpine I dont need to resort to namecalling I believe it to be true and would stand by that.
  23. Ha a bloody diary, that is something to be admired and used as an example as a warning from history.
  24. We've got rid of or are refusing to play all our recognised players, are using kids on a wing-and-a-prayer that they make an impact so they can be flogged for reasonable fees in January, are employing the likes of Antony Pulis who would have trouble getting a match for a paraplegic pub team or so it seems, and are employing cripples who we can get cheap because of a fleeting sense of loyalty to the club because of the past, but as a result dont ask for much money because they simply want to get a game. Show us where I cut out those bits then Alpine? Of course you cant , you make it up as you go top try and sidestep your post. Still evading answering the questions.
  25. So who inspires you, NOW YOU ARE AN ADULT?
