I've been defending him a bit lately but there is absolutely no way he's given his all in every game this season. There have been a number of games where he has looked so disinterested and really should've been dropped a couple of times. Hopefully he turns it around though and tbf he has been very good for the last 6 games or so.

No. Where did I say that? He's had some good games but people have moaned about him being anonymous. That's because he hasn't had to win the ball back much. One thing I will give you though is that his passing is terrible at times.

I think it's really naive to think this way. Chelsea counter attack with lots of pace. Hazard is starting to pick up his form and Willian is one of their best players. Costa is also in beast mode atm but i'm least worried about him funnily enough.

Another thing that people need to realise about Wanyama is that because of the type of midfielder that he is, when we play games where we have the lion share of possession he'll always look less effective as his niche is recovering the ball and halting attacks. So some of the times someone has said 'wanyama has been anonymous' doesn't always mean he's had a bad game. Sometimes he's had a decent game and done everything right but we've just had the ball a lot.

He's a fantastic destroyer type DM when he can be bothered and if he has the right partner. Clasie is definitely the right man but imho I really don't think Victor wants to stay which has shown in some of his performances this season unfortunately.
