I forgot, MLT in the stands at Highfield Road, Coventry and in the pub opposite before the match where he autographed some bloke's shaven head. Crap game but a good day out.

No particular order but, the likes of Paine, Chivers, etc Al after games in pubs around the Dell. Shilton in the Clump and some photo shoot in Watford. Peter Rodrigues in the King Rufus, Iain Turner with Keiron Baker, same place. David Peach at the Clock Filling Station. Channon and his missus in an Indian restaurant. Beattie in the concourse at St Mary's.

Some years ago I was 6000 miles away in Macau for work. I went into a bar with one other customer who hearing me speak English, joined me. He turned out to be a Skate! The gods had it in for me.

The day the season ended.

The MP, Rupert Lowe has had the parliamentary whip removed due to allegations of bullying. Of course, he denies them and is shouting the odds about his fellow party members. His display of arrogance is rather familiar.
-
Our distribution was terrible while Boscombe were fast and accurate. Add in the apparent gulf in quality of the two sides players, it is surprising that it was only 1-3.
-
F**k all that, we've got to get on with this. Can almost hear Juric in training.
-
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, Sky reporting Sheffield Utd are interested in BBD returning.
-
There was a story around Strachans pre-season that the players had T shirts printed saying that they survived it. By his own admission, he was adamant that players mental fitness depended on their physical fitness.
-
He has been consistently poor as a defender, leaving acres of space unmarshalled and drifting into the centre. Going forward, a different prospect altogether.
-
Sorry, getting ahead of myself.

The Times reporting this morning that Saints are considering Rohl but have yet to contact Sheffield Wednesday.

Yes, but far more effective would be supporters just not attending. Masses of empty seats would not be what SR would want the world to see on TV.

I doubt it; he probably has a cunning plan.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyr6g4d0weo Interesting comments on the organisation, or lack of it, behind the scenes.

No shots on target. Passes to the opposition. Weak in the tackles. But don't worry, we had 70% possession. Have I missed anything?
-
He, like others, cannot benefit from a system that tells them to pass the ball backwards once they are level with the 18yd box. When I was a lad, a very long time ago, we were always told to get the ball in the box and one or more players would have a chance to convert. Simple really.
-
Better still if people leave in droves during the match. SR will not want to see that on MoTD. If they do leave, they won't miss it much.
-
I may have missed something, but what has all this chat about McCarthy's mistake got to do with this thread, ie. The transfer window?
-
RM said, 'for the first 60 minutes we were good...'. We weren't, we passed sideways and backwards for an hour. I'll have a pint of what he's on.

Some years ago there was a massive fire in a Liebherr warehouse in Newport Pagnell which covered the area in black smoke. Numerous local businesses had to evacuate their premises. Is this Marcus trying to tell us something?
-
Enjoyed watching him play and a real gentleman with it. While out walking his dogs on the common he stopped to watch me taking shots at my young son 'in goal' then came over and gave him some coaching on how to deal with different attempts.

To quote Margaret Thatcher after the sinking of the Belgrano, "rejoice at that news".
-
I'll spare myself this amusement. Off to Wembley for the FA Vase final and a few beers.

We seem to have reverted to the Puel/Pellegrino/Hughes days of passing sideways and backwards. The stats on successful completion of passes look good but there is no end product in the final third. Yes, Redmond especially is guilty of that but it is symptomatic of a team without confidence. We also appear increasingly to be just a first half side which opponents must be aware of.
