  1. Respect and sympathies to all Leicester. Very sad.
  2. Yes, you are underestimating Newcastle.
  3. I'd love to see young Opafemi play but I fear the stakes are going to be too high in this vital relegation match should we not have scored. It would be a brave gamble and Saints don't do brave these days. Having said that it would be exciting to see him on the pitch heading for goal.
  4. RIP Paul Allen Sorry we missed your boat.
  5. Yes, we're all to blame. I didn't particularly want Puel out, although I disliked his negative approach, because I was concerned that we were beginning to get into a habit of changing managers too often like that which preceded our relegation. However neither did I campaign to keep him.
  6. This
  7. Well the disappointing home attendance against Premiership leaders Chelsea seems to indicate that Saints fans are already beginning to snub the club. A pity because Saints fanbase has always been the core strength of the club. Gao and Reed are you not concerned?
  8. A bit over the top mate. It's tough on all our keepers at the present with so many changes to defenders and tactics in front of them. But I agree that we need a keeper that is confident and in good form, especially now that we are in dogfight with goals against going to be crucial.
  9. It's quite simple to explain. Tickets for top games are too expensive.
  10. Perhaps all our defenders aren't awful and they all need better pairing.
  11. Some on here think a function of this site is to slag off players, sadly.
  12. Sitting on the fence again
  13. You have no business posting sensible insightful posts on this forum. and I agree with you.
  14. Gabbi in preference to Austin on the bench for me. Gabbi needs time on the pitch to show what more he can being to the team than Austin.

  16. I'm sadly finding myself increasingly curious to know what the relegation budget plan might be.
  17. The fans are not to blame in any way I suppose.
  18. How about sending Long back to West Brom in a swap for JayRod? I wish, and oh how I do wish we had never let Jay go.
  19. He would probably approved of our Ale House team. There that's Saints related. Which Saints players of the past would fit into an Ebenezer Cobb Morley Team?
  20. Good point.

Nathan's being allowed tp express himself again, no longer having to follow the Clown's rigid, negative template.
  22. Who would want to queue for the sterile brews that Saints serve up these days anyway? Bring in craft ales.
  23. We were stronger with Gabbi on the pitch and Austin off it towards the end of the match, so why start with Austin up front?

    Danny Ings

Also interesting to read this in the article: "The Danny Ings Disability Sports Project provides football coaching for disabled children and those with learning difficulties." Hopefully he can continue this in Southampton if it is still going.
