If Eddie Howe carrys on as he is, wouldn't say no to him replacing Ron at the end of his contract, however 1.5 years is a long time in football so who knows where he will be in the footballing hierarchy by then. Spot on. We discussed this after the Everton game (when they exploited leaving people up!) and again last night. Really don't understand why it doesn't happen, as you say, what benefit is Mane to us in our own box? Though it has been like this for a while, Adkins used to leave 1/2 up in his first few games here, then he seemed to change it to no-one and its been the same ever since.

I agree I'd rather have two DM's in there, 100%. Romeu and Vic have to start for me at all times if fit. But also think it's important who sits in front of them and the side is more balanced with Davis or JWP in there than a Mane or Tadic. Basically as per Shurlocks comments!

100% agree with this.

That's not what he is saying though, the difference is Davis isn't playing in the other comparison. Not having Davis in place of any of the others mentioned is the big difference.

If only we could be like Everton and keep our best players.
