  1. Tied himself into all sorts of knots. Bizzare.
  2. With the amount of sh*t you slung at Koeman for being clueless all of last season, if we can't get a better manager than that then we might as well sack off next season now.
  3. I'd argue it would be worse business sense losing VVD/Forster and having to try and find replacements.
  4. I agree that the clause is ideal, but I doubt Everton would agree to it. Plus, they aren't going to wait around until next season for him to become available.
  5. IF true and this is the sticking point, then what's to stop us just sticking him on gardening leave for the remainder of his contract? Surely in our best interests.
  6. Desire to give youth a chance... Rates JWP highly... So highly he hardly ever started a game.
  7. Barbering.... Barber.... Barber of Seville... right that's it, I'm taking that as a done deal for Emery
  8. LG - any news on when you can spill the beans on the other things you mentioned??
  9. Would like Emery (though lack of English a concern). Reckon we'll go for Howe. Probably end up with AVB or QSF.
  10. I enjoy that its 25x more likely than Leicester winning the league last year!
  11. Big if and all that, but if we did get Emery, does that mean we will bring back our translator friend again??
  12. Agree with this. Can't knock the structure and as painful as it is for some people, we have been extremely successful. Do wish they'd knock these ****y videos on the head though.
  13. When I first read this, I though you were laughing uncontrollably
  14. Why do people think just because he would go, players will follow him? It didn't happen with Poch, so why would we allow it now? Plus if what Le Goddard says is true, some of them may be happy he's leaving.
  15. He didn't poach any as the club wouldn't do business with Spurs. If he goes to Everton, then I would suspect the club will take the same stance with them.
  16. I think it's why anyone switches agent. See Fonte and Clyne for previous examples.
  17. You're crazy
  18. So in short, no formal approach received (although imagine deal done between Everton and agent) but we aren't that bothered if he wants to go. Either we have someone lined up to step in, or we have a very cavalier attitude towards this whole situation. Would be pretty underwhelmed by Howe to be honest.
  19. Absolutely not, which is clearly what the club have decided on and is probably why the Everton move is being considered by RK.
  20. F*** me.
  21. Ssssshhhhhh
  22. Maybe for him/his agent to negotiate himself a better contract?
  23. Surely if they want the Sevilla director of football, it would make sense to bring the successful Sevilla manager with him? 2 for 1 package deal.
  24. Seems weird. Why would the agent / lawyers be getting involved in contract talks if the initial 'ambition / direction' talks hadn't gone well? Unless of course Mr Reed is a liar.
  25. Ronald Koeman represents a move from Southampton to Everton. The manager there is the main candidate to succeed the sacked Roberto Martínez. Koeman made the last two seasons impression in the Premier League, although by the departure of many supporting players to finish sixth and seventh respectively. Southampton wanted to mid 2017 ongoing contract like breaking open a born Zaandammerplein and seemed largely been with the trainer agreement on a new contract. When the big clubs in England are the seats occupied for next season, but Everton kept the sleeve pulling the 53-year-old coach. The Toffees had a dramatic season with a colorless eleventh result and therefore goodbye to Martinez. Koeman worked in the Netherlands at Vitesse, Ajax, AZ, Feyenoord and PSV. Abroad, he coached Barcelona B, Valencia and Benfica. He was also assistant national coach Guus Hiddink at Orange.
