Other possibilities to go would be Davis, Gallagher/Long, one of the CB's - possibly Reed too, unless they decide he would be adequate RB/RWB cover after his spell there at Norwich. So you could make a case for 12 possible departures.

I do think we need an imposing CB who can win headers, but height not be all and end all. Hoedt has proven you can be very tall and still not win any headers. Interesting stat:- Burnley’s centre backs are Ben Mee (6ft) and Tarkowski (6ft 1) and they seemed to cope well.

Hmmm, this guy, Maddison, Gibson, Limbombe... maybe we're actually reverting back to the 'best players at lesser clubs' for targets rather than 'bench warmers at big clubs'. Not necessarily - there have been rumours since the end of last season that they are eyeing up a replacement for him, plus their fans weren't happy. If they aren't tearing trees up in the first 5-10 games, I reckon he will go. Still leaves plenty of time for them to have a good season. DT is right - they will have a better season than us.
