  1. After watching the Amazon documentary, didn’t realise how close he was to going there in the first place. Swansea completely screwed them.
  2. Wonder if us and West Ham will be the go to for random (or made up) rumours this summer.
  3. True, but he’s in the best possible hands and no doubt getting the best care available. Medics, bloody hell - what wonderful people.
  4. Shame. But as you say unlikely to have started ever week, plus only worthwhile if there’s an option to buy.
  5. If that’s true, then he deserves to be sacked. Ludicrous.
  6. Well said.
  7. True story, I nearly ran him over by the ferry port. Maybe that put him off?
  8. What a shame. See Nuno turned down Palace, be interesting to see what way they go.
  9. Sorry, thought you were talking about both! Wouldn’t surprise me with Fraser
  10. There’s not a chance in hell we’re paying McCarthy £110k a week.
  11. I can’t believe someone with the nous of Semmens would have been duped by this very obvious fake entity. Clearly something stank from the outset and I think you’re probably right, Gao forced this onto them and the club.
  12. Absolutely spot on.
  13. 1 down, 2 to go... Seriously though, bit of a shame really - had the potential to be a better bet than both Fraser and McCarthy (maybe he still will), but never seemed to recover from the 9-0.
  14. Did you miss the part where Piran said he was being flippant? And that he wasn’t suggesting Prost should come back, but that one person can have a big impact?
  15. No-one is going to pay £15m plus for him, when he has a year left on his contract. I agree, I would sell though - don't think he's going to make it at the top level.
  16. Spot on. Can't see why a club would loan out a player with no guarantee of minutes unless we're either paying a substantial loan fee, there's an obligation to buy, or they're not very good and the other team aren't bothered.
  17. Got to chuckle! Imagine it will be a loan to end of contract, similar to Boufal / Carillo #theunsellables
  18. It's not a new article - it's just the transfer article that came out a little while ago. Just says; - we want two full backs, one permanent and one likely to be a loan - Minamino wont sign permanently, but we may loan again - Might spend near £20m on a player, but would be a one-off if we deem a target worth it - If someone offers £25-30m for Ings, we will probably sell - but if we dont get the value we want, then we won't sell - If Vestergaard goes, it is likely to be abroad - we would look to replace - Gunn had positive talks with Sparkes and Crocker, but Hassenhutl not convinced. Norwich meant to be keen, somewhere around £5m - Hoping that Lemina and Hoedt leave on permanent deals this summer
  19. Know nothing about him. Looks decent going forward, nice bit of pace. Be interesting to see what he’s like defensively.
  20. Of course - like I said, I'm not a Gao fan and I'd love us to spend big on players or not have to sell to buy. But the notion that if we sell JWP the money would 'disappear' is just not correct.
  21. I'm not a Gao fan, but when has any of our incoming transfer funds just disappeared? As far as I can see, we spend what we make - the issue's been we've spent it badly. Not that it's relevant, we are not going to sell JWP to Villa.
  22. At least that's one less team Ings could go to.
  23. Not a surprise, with Maguire injured and Mings barely looking like a footballer, Southgate's chosen to include another CB. Basically admitting he got it wrong in the first place. I'd have JWP over Phillips personally, but oh well. Time for him to go and get some well earned rest.
  24. But they're not fit though.
