People who stop in the middle of the pavement for no reason. People who walk down the pavement looking at their phone and not paying attention to whats in front of them. People who leave their trolleys abandoned in the middle of the isle. Women who think pushing a pushchair gives them the right to take up the entire pavement. Old people who 'accidentally' push in queues. People who aren't ready to order when they're at the till. Attention seeking helmets. Coriander sprinkled on the top of everything. This thread is great

So was Dele Alli though... all comes down to opportunity, 1st team exposure and the quality of the coach. Must be worth a punt

Great move for the lad from a wage/prestige perspective, though hard to see him being a regular there. Will probably end up out on loan somewhere in the next 12 months.

By beating Arsenal and Man City? Really?

Obviously if a big bid comes in for him, we won't turn it down. I'd be surprised however if any elite club wants him just yet - he's been great on the whole for us, but still makes too many rash decisions for me. If he has a consistent season next year, I think he'll go after then.
-
Personally thought he had a very good game yesterday. Still things he needs to learn, like getting tighter to his man and consistent delivery, but he covered so much ground. For a 19 year old, he’s quicker and stronger than pretty much the rest of our team. He seemed to be the only one who could outmuscle and keep up with King/Wilson - compare that to Stephens and Bednarek who looked like a couple of wet lettuces. Much more to come from him next year and if he carries on, he won’t be here much longer.
-
That would be relying on Bournemouth to get something at Brighton, which based on their currently mentality, has next to no chance of happening. No doubt they'll be putting everything into their biggest game of the season on 27th April

Season ticket renewals - announced 10 April

Also, where it says - "And, with new individual matchday pricing for 2019/20 – details of which will be confirmed soon – there will be even better value than in previous years for Season Ticket holders." - so are they essentially saying that individual match ticket prices are going up, which makes season tickets better value?! -

The £399 season ticket looks to me like a concerted effort by the club to get themselves down the table of 'cheapest available season tickets' - where I'm sure it was Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea & Liverpool that were the only clubs ahead of us. As for £22 discount... just over £1 a game... cheers for that. -
Good luck to him, can't see him being a regular their - Richarlison, Walcott, Bernard, Lookman, Calvert Lewin, all vying for similar positions. Or we could just take Lookman off their hands instead..
-
Chelsea players going through the motions, playing like they want Sarri getting the sack. Bunch of weapons
-
Henderson off injured tonight, so you never know... though he might try and call up another full back instead as we look a bit light there.
-
Hopefully means we do have a get out in the deal, though don’t think we’ll be that lucky. Very reluctant to part with £20m on someone who doesn’t stay fit for more than a handful of games.

Brilliant save by Gunn at 0-1

Kane looked very offside at the time from where were sat (block 5), not that the linesman was up with play anyway

Jesus, give it a rest FFS.

You forgot to mention Deadwood. That’s his favourite word right now. -
Going to be a horrible, niggly, tight, nervy game - exactly the sort of game we've struggled in at home over the last 2 and a half years. Can't see us winning it.

Standard. Didn’t expect anything else. A lot of talk about the summer and how that’ll be the time there will be a major shake up. But the likes of Hoedt, Forster, Carrillo, Austin, Cedric etc will all still be on high wages and will still be just as difficult to shift in the summer as they are now. I think they’ll just end up being loaned out again. If we’re really in a place where we have to sell to boost the transfer budget, because the owner won’t invest, then the summer could be just as underwhelming. Especially when £20m of whatever budget we have is already been committed to Ings.

Yes I'm very aware, which makes it even more of a waste of time article.

Not sure why this is a story to be honest... Leeds are never going to sell him now and quite rightly so. If (which looks likely) they get promoted, his value will skyrocket anyway, plus if you were him why would you want to leave now. Smacks of filling column inches, in a period where there is little to no transfer activity going on.
