  1. but it might narrow the gap between the football league and the premier league, which is favourable for us.
  2. I used it before to watch youth matches, always been free.
  3. Anything which potentially levels the playing field a little has got to be good for the vast majority of clubs. I guess it might impact the ability of English clubs to compete in the Champions League etc but the present set up pretty much rules that out for clubs like Saints anyway so I don't care that much.
  4. Actually I think you got stick for the retort about "one less cyclist to worry about". Everyone who drives has made mistakes, some unfortunately result in accidents.
  5. I think the real issue with Top Gear is the appalling dress sense of its presenters and their formulaic telegraphed humour.
  6. I know you struggle sometimes, but I called him a cock because he seemed glad that he'd knocked a cyclist over: I didn't call him a cock because he'd had an accident - they can and do happen to the best of us.
  7. what a cock you sound. so basically you weren't paying attention and knocked someone off their bike?
  8. Cyclists don't have to use cycle lanes.
  9. So every pedestrian that get's knocked over would need insurance before they could claim?
  10. Teaching mainly
  11. True, in years to come people in Pompey will support Saints (local Prem team) and have a soft spot for AFC Portsmouth (Wessex League)
  12. In this case not mutually exclusive.
  13. Breaking news on SSN: Saints re-kindle interest in Javier de Pedro, looking to complete the deal imminently.
  14. err, I find it very annoying. I don't think we should sing it for Lallana no matter how good he is for us.
  15. agreed, it just droans and droans on
  16. To be fair it is a little bit easier when you win week in week out away from home. I doubt there fans would be as good if they spent 10 years outside of the top flight.
  17. What's wrong with that? If I saw an aggressive idiot acting violently I wouldn't say anything to his face because of the risk he'd turn on me. I'm comfortable enough in myself to admit and I eschew violence so I don't see the problem.
  18. Fair enough, judging by a lot of your posts I'd already concluded that you were a bit of a c*ck.
  19. You're right, he was well within his rights to do what he did. I think many are just pointing out that it was rude and disrespectful. I don't see why that is a "leftie view", it has nothing to do with politics - just common courtesy really.
  20. But Father Christmas IS real.
  21. Perhaps, but not the muslim who was a guest at the council, who in fact invite the idiot to a muslim meeting to read a Christian prayer. I'm tolerant and respectful to everyone, except those who aren't tolerant and respectful to me.
  22. Not sure about that, I don't know where you can get accurate info on these things but judging by tv highlights etc their away support isn't up to ours. As a comparator - we sold 45k plus easily for the JPT final even with restricted sales, their cup final tickets ended up on open sale.
  23. And they are all considerably richer because of the degree qualified accountants, lawyers etc that support their activities, protect their interests and help them maximise their investments etc
