Some many idiots on there. How can anyone take the **** for us getting 26k for a mid-week 3rd tier fixture? defies belief. When was the last time that Brighton got as high a crowd? 20 years ago? 30 years ago? Tits.
-
To be fair to Jaidi he is about 46 years old
-
What's he up to this season? Last night was just the sort of game that was made for him to come on and break the deadlock. Wish we'd have kept hold of him.

Why would the BBC advertise in the Express? - you'd struggle to find any bluechip corporates who would advertise in the Express or any other tabloid. The fact that you even include mention of the downmarket Express doesn't do much for your credibility. In any case your argument in nonsensical - the Guardian has a well established Media supplement so it is pretty obvious that it will attract spend from media companies. The Times on the other has a well respected Educational Supplement which includes just about every teacher vacancy in the country - are you going to argue that Education authorities are showing a right wing bias because they advertise jobs in a right wing paper or in fact that teachers are largely right wing?

Well this 'part-time' fan is really looking forward to this. Family and work commitments mean this is my first match of the season With a big crowd and the prospect of gaining 3 points on the top sport the team should come out all guns blazing. A quick start and an early goal for Lambert would be just the ticket. Will Itchen blocks near the Northam be open tonight?

Lol, trouble is people like you think you are in the centre. The right-wing print media dominates and helps set an agenda, when the BBC act differently the people who read the right wing press assume that the BBC are the ones being biased. I'm sure that many left leaning observers thought that Cameron got an easy ride from the BBC in the run-up to the election. Nick Robinson for example used to be Chairman of the Young Conservatives - if he'd been chairman of Labour students I'm sure that would have been brought up already as 'evidence' of a left bias. If the BBC really did show a consistent bias in their reporting we'd have some better examples than the treatment of Nick Griffin and than your half-baked thesis. btw, thanks for the complement, I hear that alot.
-
Your politics ae pretty evident from both your posts, you don't think the BBC have been tough enough on Labour politicians simply because you want them to be tougher because you mistrust and dislike them. It's classic selective thinking - just like football fans who convince themselves that all referees are biased against them, they ignore the 50-50 decisions that go in their favour but latch on to every decision against. For example in all the breaking reports on the Tuition Fee debate there was mention of Labour's difficulty in mounting an attack because of they hadn't yet agreed their own policy and because they broke their own manifesto pledge in 1997.

Actually Sky and ITV are also supposed to be impartial and that is a regulation of their braodcast licence. You've laced your argument with your own political opinion. What you're really saying is "I want the BBC to reflect my own personal bias".

I could make a gag out of that.....but I won't -
Well, you've certainly made a compelling case so if you say so it must be true. I'm sure Dimbleby, like all former members of the Bullingdon Club, is a raging Marxist
-
Wow you struggle to follow basic logic: I don't care whether or not you wanted to hear what he had to say - what I'm saying is that it would have been no different if he'd have appeared on panel show on Sky or ITV. The whole point of Question Time is that you get a cross-section on the panel. IIRC the Tory on Question Time did their level best to make Griffin look like a tool (not that he needed much help) - was the Tory part of the Liberal Left bais that night too?
-
Give us a break Griffin would have got an equally hard time on both Sky and ITV, that's hardly proof of left of centre bias.
-
Funny, many people thought Nick Robinson was biased towards the Tories during the election. Certainly his time as a 'Young Conservative' hardly makes him 'left of centre'.

Can't believe it is costing £93m and yet only holds 22.5k!

If you want a bit of historical fiction what about Birdsong by Sebastian Foulkes - I know it's been around a few years now but it is one of my all time favourites. Also what about a bit of John Steinbeck? East of Eden and Grapes of Wrath are both epic books and provide great commentaries on American life. I've read quite a bit of Cormac McCarthy lately - the Border Trilogy are excellent reads as well as the better known No Country for Old Men and the Road. The best non-fiction I've read recently was D-Day by Anthony Beevor. -
nail, hit, head. I bet Dune et al think that Fox is unbiased.
-
Yet again Cameron proves his anti-business credentials. When will people wake up to the damage that this Marxist and his lefty backers are inflicting on this once great and proud country.
-
Anyone who thinks the BBC is crap is a mentalist. Having lived in several countries the BBC it is streaks ahead of other countries' main broadcasters plus it so much cheaper than sky. Would any of you bother with Sky if they didn't have the football? I wouldn't.

I can clearly remember you coming on here boasting about the wealth of your new owner, can't remember which one - you've had a few.
-
I reckon the subtle financial cons are so subtle that they've never been uncovered. This one isnt that subtle - it got called out pretty quickly on here - its just the authorities are either too stupid to notice or don't care

I am a republican but I hope they find happiness. Not sure about using Diana's ring though. It was a loveless, marriage of convenience and was best by much infidelity and a messy divorce.

In that case can we complete the sale of our national assets? The US might be interested and it will raise a few million to chip away at the deficit.
-
You're such a goon.

I hope they realise that unlike the recent NFL match it won't be held at a 90,000 seat stadium.
