  1. I'm getting confused, why does Howe supposedly hate Saints? Is he a skate?
  2. Other than his Saint connection is there anything to particulalrly recommend Magilton?
  3. I seem to remember someone else saying that once.....
  4. I guess it might depend on what his voting record/public views were on gay issues
  5. I'm sure there was a post on this forum a while back that aluded to Hague being gay.
  6. lol if there is someone on this forum who need better education on politics it is you with your continual Tony Blair/new labour = socialist rubbish. We shouldn't be taught that any event in history is "good" - surely we should be taught how to use different sources, analyse the cause and effect and then arrive at our own opinion which can be support with evidence.
  7. I'm not exactly saying you're wrong but it is hard to believe that Wilson would have been on big wages when he's only recently become a first team regular and that at a time when the finances were known to be very dodgy - when did he sign his last Pompey contract? Also I find it hard to believe that Kitson and Lawrence will have taken massive wage cuts to join Pompey - I can only imagine that Stoke are subsidising the wages.
  8. And can agree terms - supposedly Pompey won't pay more than £10k a week and you can be sure that both Lawrence and Kitson are on quite a bit more at the moment and could probably get more elsewhere.
  9. It was just a fecking cat you tart.
  10. Great! keep 'em coming, they help to staff our public services and pay taxes to fund the "indigenous" work-shy.
  11. @Dune Sorry but you sound such a mong with all this "socialists" talk. Do you really think Labour under Blair were socialist? BTW being to the "left" of you doesn't mean they were socialist.
  12. Re: FIFA bid visit They did visit but they didn't go to all 16 bid cities.
  13. People connected to allegations of money laundering being interested in Pompey? why does that sound familiar.......
  14. Or if they support Saints
  15. Sorry St Keith, not the work of Bill Gates http://www.snopes.com/language/document/liferule.asp For me University was a great experience and I would have found it difficult to get my current role without. But if you work hard and have average or above intelligence then you will do well degree or no degree. Same with respect to A Levels, I know plenty of peple who've got good jobs etc even though they got 'crap' results.
  16. You are kidding right?
  17. And thank **** for that. I know that someone said "satire is dead" after Kissinger was awarded the nobel peace prize but this Blair being made Middle East peace envoy has got just as much "what the ****?!" written all over it. I don't think anyone is saying that no other ex-PM has ever made a few bucks but Blair has taken it to a new level, why anyone - least of all a left leaning liberal which I think you are - would defend Blair is puzzling.
  18. I'm looking to sell my Chevy Matiz (cracking car lol), it's an 07 plate and done just under 15k miles and is probably worth around £2-3k. It has got a few scratches on both corners of the front bumper and I've been quoted about £180 to have them sorted by one of those mobile scratch repair companies. Is £180 a decent quote? Is it worth doing or should I just get rid?
  19. I disagree in the main with private schooling but I have to admit it is easier to have principles about private/state education when you don't have kids. Secondary school is a long way off for my two but was discussing this the other day with my wife and we came to the conclusion that we wouldn't want them to attend any of the local state schools - it would either be pay for private or move somewhere else. Obviously I'd rather not pay and I'd hate them to become snobs etc but you want your kids to thrive and the local state schools are simply too rough.
  20. I'm in, a massive banner would be awesome and could be used in future big games.
  21. Totally agree with this. "Karma" might have been a relevant comment if Liebherr had simply decided to walk away and not invest in the club, not him dying. You've let yourself down FMPR.
  22. Are you sure you don't want to defect to the Saints? You seem too reasonable and objective to be a skate
  23. I sometimes use the cycle lane, I sometimes don't. Sometimes they are poorly designed and are actually less safe to use than the open road. They are completely optional. With regard to undertaking on the left had side, I only do so when I'm sure that no car is about to turn left. If I'm near a junction with cars turning left I filter back into the traffic safely so that no cars would turn across me. I don't see what the problem is for drivers, whenever I turn left in a car I quickly check my inside mirror and blindspot. Its not difficult. Some cyclists have no road sense, just like some car drivers. all you need to do is show respect for other road users and pay attention to what's going on around you.
  24. Cracking idea, the club will sort something out but it would be great for the fans to do something of our own. Surely this website could collect donations via paypal and get enough to make something really impressive?
  25. Absolutely gutted. Terrible for his family and freinds. The man who saved Saints will never be forgotten, such a shame to die so young and so early into his adventure with Saints. Let's win the division title for Markus!
