  1. Just copy the one aimed at Alex Ferguson last season... "Poyet, you're a c*nt, Poyet, Poyet, you're a c*nt" Simple and effective.
  2. Likewise if you'd been to that Newcastle away game, I've had some long depressing journeys home from away games but stone me that's up there with the worst. Jones was on borrowed time when he went on 'gardening leave' and things worked out for the best with Hoddle and Strachan anyway. It's the post Strachan decisions that cost us our Prem status IMO.

Oh for **** sake, you just know something will go against us now. Controversial decisions follow that guy around like a bad smell.
  4. Wonder if they'd move that to St Marys for safety concerns should that happen? I'd imagine thousands of Saints fans would fancy it as a bit of a mini derby, and the skate fans would come in numbers as they'd still see it as getting one over on the 'fackin scummers'.
  5. That video reminds me, it's about time I uploaded some more!
  6. I'm probably mistaken on this, but I was under the assumption that Mike Ashley owned both Newcastle United and Sports Direct, so is the extra £8-10million per year not just going to be Ashleys money anyway?
  7. Ahhh yes Mark Wotte, the tosspiece who froze Adam Lallana out of the squad as he didn't rate him leaving AL seriously down about his football. That episode for me taints any good he did for us, clueless ******.
  8. Curiously Cinnamon, although I'll always call the by their original name of Cinnamon Grahams. Could quite easily munch through a whole box if I wanted to.
  9. Against Fulham a few years back: Announcer: "substitution coming on for Fulham, Collins John" Saints Fan: "you've got your name back to front you ****!" Was amusing at the time.
  10. As embarrassing as the chanting of players first names was it still doesn't compare to the mongtastic 'easy, easy' that some fans have started singing again recently.
  11. Fair to say Chappers is going to be well up for this one what with the dislike between him and Fergie. I wouldn't mind seeing us start with the same team as against Boro. I know Butters was an enforced changed but he played well enough to earn another game I thought.
  12. We almost scored two more near identical multipass goals this season, one against Swindon and Watford respectively. Some of the passing from our team these days is incredible, there must be some serious hard work going on down at staplewood. Back to the best goal at St Mary's, we all know it was that god awful penalty from Rasiak a few years ago
  13. I'd like to think so, but seeing as National Express only charge £6.30 for a return to SKatesmouth I'm inclined to think the club are going to make a fortune from this.
  14. It's probably the belief that every goal scored these days feels like one step closer to the Prem. Sure does feel better these days working towards something rather then accepting midtable comfort.
  15. Always found the ferociousness of goal celebrations dependent on how important the goal is. The reaction for going 1-0 up against an average team in the 10th minute doesn't compare to say a last minute winner or getting the 3rd against MK Dons last year for example. The mental goal celebration has always been there.
  16. For me, I'm hoping the Saints connection is that we're going to win by the same scoreline at Fratton come December.
  17. Poor first half, we're better than that!
  18. Equaliser from Gillett, well done fella, hope he gets a hattrick.
  19. Comedy tweets courtesy of thebigsam on twitter: Sometimes I wish I could get on a spaceship and fly off to a faraway planet and hang out with aliens and experience something incredible. But instead I have to watch 11 ****s get done by a man that's actually called Jos Hooiveld. Useless set of bastards. I'd been planning to let the lads watch 'License To Drive' on the coach on the coach on the way home but **** them. They don't deserve it.
  20. 3 match ban - Epic lolz.
  21. The comment was actually like Kevin Davies but good, I reposted it on another thread.
  22. Attitudes like that see people choosing to sit on their arse and claim dole rather than get a job at the lower end of the scale like in a supermarket or mcJob as they find it embarassing. Fair play to Gaz IMO. Oh and Waitrose or Asda for me, depends if I can be arsed to drive to Chandlers Ford or not.
  23. When I think back to how dejected I felt leaving Pride Park that night it's only really now I can look back and say I'm actually glad we lost that night. Looking how bad Derby were the following season it's highly likely we'd have been just as awful, can you imagine the thought of George Burley trying to lead us to success in the Prem with Jermaine Wright guaranteed a starting place each game! The money made from just getting promoted would probably have staved off administration and we wouldn't have ended up being bought by Markus. Funny how things work out Sometimes.
  24. Seem to recall hearing that to continue showing replays would cost a shedload of money, hence why we haven't done it since we left the Prem. It's true that we do use the Sky feed for games that are being televised from SMS and up until a few years ago used their replay facility, but it's whichever Saints employee that controls them now puts the adverts up instead of replays.
  25. I agree, the people that do this are scum, and I'm not saying she was asking for it etc. Unfortunately unlike suggested in your post it's not a completely civilised society and parks aren't always safe at night, and the fact that I seem to read about the same sort of attacks every year in the echo suggest women could be a bit more savvy with their own safety. Like farawaysaint says about doing cartwheels near cliffs I wouldn't go jogging on a motorway.
