  1. I’m hoping for a heavy loss to speed up the sacking of the clueless welsh midget. Come on you Eagles.
  2. Just gone 2pm, why is this prick still here?
  3. https://www.rasmusankersen.com/contact/ I’ve messaged him to let him know he’s a dopey cunt, Not expecting a reply.
  4. Our fans gave exactly as expected. Years of watching this shit has left us apathetic and a few boos is as bad as it’s ever going to get. Gone are the swing Lowe and branfoot protest era supporters.
  5. Hopefully the fans in the ground turn their attention towards the directors box this half.
  6. Not even on target, shocking.
  7. Would take more than that. Maybe have a word with the local Albanians and sort out a free line of Charlie for the Northam and get the place rocking. Right come on Saints, please don’t fucking let me down….again!!
  8. Doesn’t look like too many are keen on the wristband bullshit
  9. I’ll look into that as a back up. The service I’m on is set up in a way not too dissimilar to sky with a tv guide so there’s no need to find websites etc so I’m happy to pay for that convenience tbf
  10. I pay about £40 a year for the convenience of having about 10’000 channels, the latest movies and tv shows, all available to stream in perfect HD through my fire stick on the big TV. I’d take that any day over the weekly stream hunt on my iPad, closing down the hundreds of pop ups every time you touch the screen.
  11. So Saintsy🤣
  12. We’ll agree to disagree on that I guess. This whole mess started under him, the piss poor mentality, random formations and head scratching selections should have seen him gone way before we finally pulled the trigger.
  13. Is it? We were a big chunk into the season already and whilst Ralph had to go we needed an established manager that would command respect and sort this team out. Instead we’ve tried to be clever thinking we’ve bought in the next big thing when all we’ve done is recruited somebody well out of their league, quite literally. I believe the fallout from relegation will be a lot worse than just dropping down a league and everyone will look back to the hiring of Jones as the Sliding Doors moment.
  14. Sturrock doesn’t belong on that list tbf!! I get the sentiment though and totally agree, appointing jones is going to be be one of the biggest disasters in our history.
  15. Yep. If he’s just dealt with it by kicking it into touch this wouldn’t have happened. Gut punch after looking so much better that second half. Can’t see a way out of this now.
  16. We really are better just trying Ballard up front with Che at this point. There is absolutely nothing to gain by bothering with Armstrong anymore.
  17. He’s just missed an absolute sitter there!!!
  18. For a cautionary tale take a look at West Brom today, they have just taken out a loan from MSD holdings to pay off existing loans and secured it against their training ground and stadium, loans that were originally taken out to cover the shortfall from tv rights to pay the wages. MSD is the firm that lent Derby County money also securing the funds against club assets nearly resulting in their liquidation. Considering we’ve already got an outstanding charge against the club despite our Premier League TV income and apparent billionaire owner, you would be fucking delusional if you think relegation would be anything but a complete and utter disaster for us.
  19. The thing with that, whilst not unheard of, is why would Saints agree to that and put ourselves at a disadvantage? Unless there’s an agreement that somebody is coming the other way as part of the deal. Can’t imagine City would willingly forego their buy back clause after such a short amount of time so that we could sell to a rival of theirs.
  20. Those hoping for relegation because it’ll be like the last time we were in the Championship and will be winning a lot more games are in for a shock I fear. The rebuild job required to get us to the point of promotion candidates will cost far more than SR are likely to spend given how we’ve scrimped on our manager and how the early leaks from The Athletic suggest this January window is likely to go. The parachute payments will be eaten up by wages of the dross that nobody else wants, servicing the loan against the club, and the multiple redundancies that come with relegation. We’ll be relying on academy graduates, loans and journeymen and it will look more like the Poortvliet/Wotte era than the Adkins one. if we are relegated this season as looks likely we are much more likely to double drop than bounce back
  21. Unfortunately Pample I get the point you’re trying to make, but I have to say I can’t see our fans doing fuck all about it anymore to be honest. Those days of the Branfoot era protests, Askham protests, Swing Lowe songs etc and the us against the world mentality are long gone. We’ve been served up such a load of shite at home for years now that St Mary’s has become a soulless bowl, full of apathetic ‘customers’ going through the motions, a sterile happy clappy social media driven match day “experience” free from intimidation for home and away fans alike. Closure of block 1, giving away fans more tickets than we have to, particularly for cup games, the kingsland “premium” section and the lack of action over away fans in the home end to name a few things show us what the club think of the old school vociferous support of previous relegation battles and protests during the bad times. The club couldn’t give a fuck about some visible empty seats and some boos at full time as they know that’s as bad as it’s going to get. A few of the happy clappy posts on here aimed at fans that are criticising the appointment of Jones are as idiotic as they are laughable. Most of us had question marks about him right from the off as his cv didn’t exactly set the world alight, and we remember all too well the story of Steve Wigley and how costly that was. If we went down to a battling 2-1 defeat today things wouldn’t seem too bad, but it’s the manner of defeat, and the opposition, that has convinced me Jones is way out of his league. He’s had weeks with this team to create a bit of identity and breathe new life into the side, yet we somehow look worse than before he took over. I’m at a complete loss as to why the squad were given 2 weeks off at the start of the World Cup break when they should have been grafting away on double training sessions Poch style working on their fitness. Why did we even go to Spain anyway, that’s another clusterfuck given they were meant to be going to sunny Miami but ended up spending a week in pisswet Spain, could have just stayed in the UK for that. I stand by my belief that Jones will be gone by march, at which point it’ll be far too late to save ourselves.
  22. Based on that shitshow I’d say we’re even worse than before the World Cup. Jones had 7 weeks of coaching this lot and that’s the best we can come up with? Why on earth did our players get 2 weeks off at the start of the break? Those cunts should have been dragged up to the North of Scotland doing fitness training in the beaches Strachan-style. No knee jerk reaction about it, I’m convinced we are going down this season. We look worse than we did in 04-05 which is saying something. At least we had some decent players back then. Jones should not have been given this job, and by the time the board realise it and act it will be far too late.
  23. Here we go then come on Saints you twats. Let’s hope the god botherer has asked the big man for a miracle.
  24. Judging by all the empty seats for this ‘sold out’ game you’re not the only one. That was atrocious, absolutely fucking dogshit. Can’t wait to hear what the happy clapper members of this forum have to say about that as all of our fears appointing this league 1 manager are looking like being bang on the money. Bed wetters they called us. Pricks. I’m starting to think our Serbian owner is mates with Mandaric and has bought us for a laugh to ruin.
  25. He played earlier funnily enough and had a shocker!! Not disagreeing though, his form when he came back into the side was decent, not spectacular but far better than we’ve seen from Bazunu. We’d be better off playing Caballero
