I won my tickets for tonight on the Carabao website and I still feel ripped off. Hard to know what to make of that, expected to see some sort of identity to our play but it was very much new gaffer same shit for the first 60 minutes. That being said their campaign has carried on these past 6 weeks whilst we’ve had a break so it’s no surprise that they seemed a bit more of a unit that first hour. Glad we won, that’s the main thing, looked better with the substitutions, hopefully I never see Maitland-Niles or Adam Armstrong in a Saints shirt again but don’t think that’s likely. Potentially yes this World Cup could be the last we see of Gareth in charge in England.
