  1. Oh Bazunu, no excuse.
  2. Oh fuck off
  3. I won my tickets for tonight on the Carabao website and I still feel ripped off. Hard to know what to make of that, expected to see some sort of identity to our play but it was very much new gaffer same shit for the first 60 minutes. That being said their campaign has carried on these past 6 weeks whilst we’ve had a break so it’s no surprise that they seemed a bit more of a unit that first hour. Glad we won, that’s the main thing, looked better with the substitutions, hopefully I never see Maitland-Niles or Adam Armstrong in a Saints shirt again but don’t think that’s likely. Fair play to the imps fans for making that trip midweek so close to Christmas. Some of their chants were a bit Mickey Mouse but they put our fans to shame in the noise stakes.
  4. Yep. Might even be the best World Cup of all time too tbf.
  5. Didn’t know Shearer did his, that’s mental when you consider how good his goal ratio despite losing about a year out!! Hopefully Broja goes on to make a recovery, crazy how the same injury can have such varying outcomes for sportsmen and women.
  6. Poor guy, sounded like the Nevillegasm for that Torres goal before I realised it was Armando screaming in pain. Was on the pitch when this happened to a team mate at Sunday league level, horrible to witness. Hopefully with age and technology on his side he recovers to fulfil a career still. I bare him no ill will for the way he dropped off under Ralph, he was probably as fucked off as we all were with the bizzare squad and formation selections.
  7. Fuck sake, another tournament another what could have been story. Just our luck to support a club and country that underachieve so much.
  8. Like that then is it FIFA? Don’t want England progressing? How the fuck that wasn’t over ruled by VAR is beyond me.
  9. The power of a photo with no context. Have you seen the footage of the Dutch players goading the Argentina players on their walk to the spot? Fair play to them reacting this way I’d have done the same. Never thought I’d ever watch a game wanting Argentina to win but seeing that snake Van Dijk in the refs ear every 2 minutes tipped it in the Argies favour.
  10. That’s a proper shit draw for us, I’m sure palace fans feel the same way to tbf. Shit seeing those non league or league 2 teams get pulled out and we’ve gotta go back to fucking Palace.
  11. Make a change Gareth you fucking Donkey. Christ it’s like Ralph is in charge of this England team

I surprised Kevin Miller didn’t get the nod ahead of him 😂

Was he? I was always of the impression that Jones was a solid, if unspectacular, Premier League keeper.

    Harsh on Jonah IMHO
  15. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but bloody hell of all the photos to use. Pure Partridge right there!!
  16. Ahhh yes, Simon Clifford, the brains behind the mighty Garforth Town, wonderkid Jason St Juste, and their futsal inspired march into the football league. How is that going these days?.

Saints have just posted this online, good little watch if you’ve got a spare 10 minutes. Good to see Antti looking well, he comes across really modest too. There’s a decent one with Beattie too.
  18. It’s could be if enough teams went along with it. It would be no different to the attempted Super League breakaway plans except fans would have gone along with it rather than opposed it. What exactly could FIFA have done if the majority of countries turned around and said they refuse to compete.
  19. All the furore about this World Cup is a load of bollocks really. If the respective countries really gave a damn about the corrupt bid process, the laws of Qatar, dead migrants or the horrible fan environment they could have just boycotted the tournament and set up a breakaway international tournament not under the jurisdiction of Fifa. They would have soon backed down once the sponsors followed suit and their whole corrupt house of cards still would have come tumbling down. No amount of virtue signalling gay named planes or rainbow armbands is going to counter the hypocrisy of the competing teams even showing up in the country to play in the first place.
  20. We should have held out for Potter 😂😂 Newcastle 3rd at Christmas then, and to think Howe wasn’t good enough to manage us according to some on here.
  21. Hilarious. Makes the decision to leave Toney behind look even more foolish from Southgate
  22. Never understood the fascination so many people have with Bielsa. Pretty average managerial record, got Leeds up at the second go after bottling the first attempt then nearly got them relegated in the second season because he didn’t know how to set a team up to defend, and spent all his time on the sidelines sat on a bucket looking like a miserable twat.
  23. Slab head has been shocking for a while now, even in his England appearances of late.
  24. No, because it’s pretty obvious that the sway the big 6 and sponsors have over the England team is behind some of his squad selections. Remember when he used to claim that he wouldn’t pick out of form players, maybe that was his original intention, until the powers that be had their say. Gareth for me is the future of what the FA want as a manager. No big personality, good in front of the cameras, can be influenced, and wouldn’t get near a top 6 Premier League management job for love nor money. Theres no way that Maguire. Phillips, Henderson or Gallagher get into that squad based on current form if they weren’t still at their respective clubs.
  25. Potentially yes this World Cup could be the last we see of Gareth in charge in England. That being said the FA seem quite happy with a non confrontational yes man at the helm so I also wouldn’t be surprised if they offered him a new deal. I guess the decision might also factor in who is available to replace him and when.
