The relegation battles of old were fought by players whom may have lacked ability, but they made up for it with heart. This bunch of useless cunts have got neither. The only thing I’m looking forward to with relegation is that hopefully I won’t have to watch most of these pricks dishonour our shirt anymore. What a shite fucking season. To think some of the clowns on here have got the nerve to criticise the fans in the ground that still turn up to watch this complete and utter shite, just because they can’t muster the effort to “roar” the team on to victory, like it would do any good.

Just an opinion of course, but the fact United went down to 10 could have actually worked against us as they tightened it up, seen it so many times where the red card just kills the game. Ultimately though not many teams will come back from Old Trafford with a point and a clean sheet, that should be celebrated. A few unlikely draws against the big six will prove vital if we can win a few of our kinder remaining fixtures.

Pretty pissed off seeing Jack Stephens celebrating a clean sheet against Liverpool after another decent display whilst we have to suffer Janny B in our back line. That being said I believe he’ll be a really important player for us in the Champ next season, and in the likely event of the departure of JWP would probably be a shoe in for team captain.

Guys seriously, it’s no good looking at all the other scores and getting upset about how other teams are doing. Our relegation rivals will lose some, and our relegation rivals will win some, the threshold to stay up was never going to be 24-25 points, and if we are somehow to get out of this we are going to have to realistically win another 6 games, and we’ll leapfrog the teams around us in due course. It’s honestly worth forgetting what everyone else is doing and just seeing if we can find them 6 wins from the remaining games.

Makes the decision to not bring in a striker with Prem experience back in summer even more frustrating. Even if they were crap and only scored 5 goals they’d still be a better option than Armstrong and we’d likely have 2 or 3 more points than we do currently.

VAR decisions should have a time limit. If the VAR official cannot find an issue with something within 30 seconds then the on field decision should stand. Its supposed to be used for clear and obvious errors, it wasn't designed to take up to 5 minutes to find an offside.

The guy need’s protecting before this season takes a mental toll on him and the pressure has a detrimental effect on his future. Not that he’s the answer but maybe it’s time for McCarthy to come back in. Earned himself a payer of the season award in a previous relegation battle so he’s up to the fight.

I remember in his first season here the guy looked like he was running through treacle, and just looked so out of his depth. The fact that he is not only still here 4 and a half years later, but is also starting Premier League football matches is a prime example of why we are where we are. The real question despite his very clear failings, is how the hell he still gets picked.

There’s no way in a million years Lowe would have spent the money SR have. Unfortunately it’s all been invested in completely the wrong way and it will prove our downfall.

Not all of us Nick, I’d have loved us to go for him despite what the forum experts thought. Instead we bought the bloke from The Green Mile with the ability to match.
