Thanks mate, Ive asked around a couple of other places and found that the 32-bit version of MAX (a program I need for my course will run terribly on 64 bit OS, and I can be forking out for a new version of max so ive had to plum for the 64 version, only missing out on 600mb of my available ram and I can prob live with that. Nothing stopping me changing in the future either.

Another thing to consider is I can just download an upgrade of 32 bit, would have to pay a little extra for the 64 bit dvd to come through the post... hmm confusing times

Im about to buy windows 7 on the cheap as a student (thanks for the tip whoever it was on the other thread!) Dont know weather its worth going for the 64-bit option given ive got a 64-bit processor. Use my laptop for mainly web browsing / uni work (lots of work in 3DS-MAX and ZBRUSH etc) Comp specs are as follows (pretty crappy..) AMD turion x2 64 bit 2.4GHz 4 GB RAM (does 32 bit windows only use 3..?) ATi 4530 GPU 512mb dedicated GDDR ram so, is it worth the hassle of searching for drivers? Will I see much of an advantage? Tis' a HP laptop, dunno if they will be much help driver wise?

Is the Lounge more interesting than the main forum?
Saint_Jonny replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Lounge
Its a nice a'side if you've got nowt else to do, but I spend most of my time bumming around the main forum, cos' im obsessed you see! Thats why my post count is pretty low given ive been on here everyday since the forum was created. God im sad... -
Deary me, dont think this thread is serving its purpose any more, is it? Your acting like children on a playground, grow up for goodness sake. From looking at that vid, I hope paul hart comes out of all this un-scathed as he seems like a genuinely good bloke.

So so so so worth it, what a great night!
-
Yeah it was like being at a comedy show during the first half, great fun!

Just back from the game. Apart from the free kick (which was taken beautifully) MK didnt really get much of a look in. Saints system really worked well at keeping them out and we looked totally dominant in the second half. My MOTM would be Hammond, closely followed by Lallana. But saying that, every player I can think of did a superb job today, well done lads! (apart from waigo maybe, thats two games where hes been in the background a bit, reminds of BWP too much in the way he plays) Ill be driving back to Huddersfield tomorrow with a big smile on my face now

My first phone in 1999 when I was 10 what a brick.

If your not in range of radio solent and need to hear the commentary on a saturday (as I do, or i'd die a frustrated death) then its definitely worth it. The vid highlights are usually 2mins more than you get from the BBC and now and then you get super extended highlights and the odd full game. Interviews nearly always go up on the OS as text days before they appear on the player however and this is a bit annoying.

God damn it, there I was thinking I was being clever, ill try harder next time.
-
perhaps but I read it as "they are crap and we've given them three goals", come to think of it why would he call a team with Lambert Connelly and lallana in it crap? Im talking ******** again arent I.
-
"If you give teams like Southampton three goals then you're always going to struggle, it's that simple." Thats what the oldham manager has said, are we viewed as a ****e side then?
-
So they win a game and he gets the sack? seems a bit spastic to me... Idiots.

I saw some people in the pub on Saturday dressed all on Burberry and other chav like gear (you know, top buttons done up, dodgy hair cuts, travel in a huge male only family), they later got kicked out and I assumed one of them must have been you stu given the state of them

Burnley at home last season, -10 confirmed, late goal conceded, fights amongst supporters, and the embarrassment that was that pitch invasion. The only time ive left early and the only time ive thought, "man, our fans are a rite bunch of c u nts"
