Completely pointless really, then. £3.3m each - what a waste of time.

Couple of absolute duff picks ahead of JWP - i.e. FOUR right backs and a 17 year old in midfield.. And I am not convinced that Kalvin Phillips is better than JWP, he certainly doesn't have the weapons that JWP has (dead ball). Shitter.

You signpost it constantly in your sarcastic bullshit posts. You want everyone to know but you are too much of a pussy to say it. Its transparent and boring.

You don't like people that look different to you being fairly represented, we get it, you've said it a thousand times. Move on.

I get that it's a faff to move seat, especially on mass, but seems like a bit of an over reaction to this news to me. You'll get basically the same view for a similar price to before. Still just a plastic seat and you can still be near your usual crowd, will just take some organisation. -
Enjoyed the first 60-odd minutes of the game, so much better watching a game unfold in front of you rather than on a TV. Atmosphere was decent as Saints dominated the opening period and really should have taken advantage - story of our season. Don't blame the Saints players one bit that went straight down the tunnel after the game - loads of single-celled organisms near where I was sat chose to boo at the end of the game. Probably the same zero-GCSE morons that chose to boo anti-racism gesture before kick-off. Some of the players will have gotten used to playing without the pressure of playing in front of Sotonians who have ZERO patience and, it would seem, very little football knowledge. The second we go one behind, all patience goes out of the window, the cries of "GET IT FORRRWARRRRDDDD" start and the player the idiots have chosen as chief scapegoat is suddenly on a hiding to nothing. You think after not being allowed to watch a real football match FOR A YEAR people would be a little more appreciative or at least have a bit more patience, not our lot.

Footballers using their high profile and public platform to come out against racism and kids being bombed shouldn't offend you so much, but here we are, it does, and you are happy to go online and show everyone what a bigoted small minded person you are. At least you don't hide it.

It's not a political issue. Stop pretending it is.

Looking forward to actually going to a game tonight! Going with a guy that usually shares a season ticket with someone else - his name isn't the name on the ticket. I went to the Sheff Utd game and they weren't checking IDs on the gate that day, hoping they don't bother for most people today also. The guy going tonight has had both jabs - two more than the named guy, so it's not like i'm sneaking in a super spreader.

Superb team goal that. Nice one Saints!
-
Same here! Incredible season and worthy of the constant calls for him to be on the team week in week out!!!111

What you call a "hopeful punt" a lot of people would call "a pass to a striker which led to a goal", otherwise known as an assist. But hey, you hate the guy so believe what you want.

Just got 2 tickets in the Northam - I was in the last ticket window as we went to the Sheff Utd game. Pleased we got a chance to get tickets - hope it's a good game!

I heard he banged Raph's wife.

What is this forums obsession with Jankewitz!? Why do you think he's done anything to warrant usurping an established player? Fucking maddening.
-
Nothing to do with Saints (for what it's worth I would leave the crest as it is, it's great) - but Eastleigh's crest makeover last year was excellent. So it proves that change doesn't always = shite.
-
And yet here you are, on a shit team's forum having a go at people that want to go to a football match.

Racist abuse on social media after team loses
Saint_Jonny replied to East Kent Saint's topic in The Saints
I think if you want to be on a major social media platform you should have to turn over some ID. I'd happily do this - those that cry "privacy" are obviously too dim to see the irony in that stance - the social media companies are already flogging your data for massive profit so why not enforce some accountability and tie the digital user to a real world one. -
I remember looking enviously at Shithouse premier League teams when we were at our lowest ebb (2006-2010), and indeed beyond that as we started to climb back. Teams like Villa, Sunderland and Bolton. Perennial strugglers barely winning 10 games each all season and on the back of that getting to stay in the Premier League. It's the reality for us now and yes, while we "get to be in the Premier League" it isn't much of a prize when you're living through it. Fucking dreary, stale boring crap.

Decent enough performance from Saints first half. But for a bit if better finishing we could have scored a couple, equally Liverpool could have scored a couple more. There for us to get something if we're more clinical second half. COYR.
-
It may not have been pretty, but at no time have we been close enough to the bottom three to panic. You don't remember Ralph's first (half) season where we needed saving? That was way less comfortable than this. And Hughes keeping us up at Swansea? Painfully uncomfortable.
-
We've had tiny investment in the squad, fourth lowest net spend in the league (two teams with higher net spend than us are going down this season, Burnley, Leeds and Wolves have all spent a lot more than us for the same or a couple more points) and he's got us comfortably staying up this season. It's been a shit three months but this all needs to be taken in perspective - which is hard to do when we've all been trapped indoors and one of our only normal outlets has been absolutely crushingly frustrating.
