I love how losing away at Arsenal appears to be the "final straw" with Ralph for so many of you. Bunch of wetties. We had the better of much of the play first half, one good breakaway goal a and a shit piece of defending has done us. I don't think this Saints team will go down, just wish we had more nouse up top because we've so nearly been a very good side this season.

Done well to win the ball high up the pitch loads of times in this game, including a couple of Arsenal gifts. We've done absolutely fuck all with those opportunities however.

I understand the sentiment just fine mate - you don't want football so sanitised that it becomes boring, and I agree. I am just making the point that if you believe that screaming at a referee at a football match is one of the few ways for a man to healthily stretch his inner caveman, then you are wrong.

Agree - but don't act so surprised. The forum contrarians and trolls flock to threads like this to let everyone know they "have no problem" with a minority group, but "don't get" why a minority group might need protection or a light shone on their cause or the issues they face. It's a never ending avalanche of fact dodging, point scoring bullshit from the usual crowd. Fortunately with each generation comes (generally) a more tolerant and liberal attitude to life and it's glorious diversity. I ate my own words and signed up for this a few months ago, after initially being against handing my money over for something that could be revoked at a moments notice with zero option of a refund - remember all of this is shady as shit and totally illegal. Having said that...I am now a subscriber after getting frustrated finding streams on a Saturday afternoon (away games only). It is pretty faultless, works well on my LG TV (I use the IPTV Smarters App). It's so easy to use I've started tuning into non-Saints games for the first time in ages, when I can find the time that is.

We've had some good results from difficult games at the start of the season, so we are obviously disappointed not to win that today. More so that we've lost it. Fucking frustrating today, so familiar to games at St Marys the last 3 or 4 years. Just turgid, pondering shite going forward.

I agree there will always be those that take things too far or can't handle their drink. That much is obvious. For the rest of us, just having the option to have a beer while enjoying the game would be great. There will be a lot of worry and drama about allowing people to drink in the two 45 minute windows in which a football match is played. I honestly can't see it making much of a difference. If people want to get hammered today, they will do it before and after the game, or down a drink at half time.
