Formal statement from Fry needed!

So here were are, 6pm on Thursday 25th June and the employees wages not paid.

Unless Pinnacle have agreed to complete the deal tomorrow or another buyer enters exclusivity with a non refundable deposit I can see the next move from the Administrators will be to liquidate the club.

They have no money coming in and no money in the kitty to pay bills since Administration. Are the employees being asked to continue to work for nothing?

Should the Administrators not be making a formal statement?

I agree....wait on Jacko on way to ground with full suitcase from under his bed....Really.

Wages should be paid tomorrow...But would you pay then Fry enters into business with others who are just pulling your plonker....I would try to get a further deal because there ain't nobody else out there about to put 1 mil down for wages etc....Pinnacle is our best bet.....

Has Jacko arrived yet....

I cannot see how anyone else will get involved to buy the club. Pinnacle could simply buy the club the next day and the new preferred bidders money goes up in smoke.
Nope, if Fry gives someone else preferred status he cannot deal with Pinnacle until that period is over.

I am still hopeful Pinnacle will complete shortly but every day that has gone by since last Friday makes it less likely.

Michael Fillka said Pinnacle would be doing the deal possibly within hours. Tomorrow will be the day when we are bought IMO so the wage issue will be resolved then.

His words were;

"The deal could be done in a matter of days if not hours"

Mmm, now where on earth have we heard that before? Same old honest hope as before, they say its hard to jusge whilst in hands of lawyers but as its one issue, and money is ready, as soon as lawyers are happy then it will be done, but lawyers can delay thing...

fair enough

I have no proof of this, but, I have just been told the staff have now been paid. Does anyone know someone who works at the club that can confirm this?

This would be a crucial development.

Please don't tell me that we're so un-connected that we can't even verify this.

Just spoken to someone at the club who rang me to ask if I knew anything and as of 21:30 tonight staff had not been paid. There is an update meeting at SMs tomorrow morning.

I wonder what there is to update? I hope its positive news, I can't see they would be called into a meeting to be told that they still haven't been paid.

not surprising that Pinnacle haven't paid - why should they until the clus is theirs?

It would demonstrate good intention.

I know many of us are questioning the developments of this evening but you just have to assume (dangerous I know) that Fry is comfortable with the funding arrangement Pinnacle are presenting.
