I didn't say it wasn't true. It may well be, but its likely to be just using the Reading connection. I'm just saying anyone in the world can create a Wikipedia account and write what ever they want on there. It will be interesting to see whether they can sweet talk him or not. This is exactly the sort of behaviour we should be hoping for; cheekily nabbing players who , by rights, should be playing in a higher division! S-Clarke Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 If he believes the project we're undertaking here, then i reckon he'll sign. This isn't just your average leage 1 club remember.....we're only going in one direction now and i'd expect alot of players are interested in playing a part. If we do get him i reckon he'd score 30+ in this league and auto promotion, even with -10, could be possible.

madsent Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 Wiki says Pardew may be a factor. Verbal Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 He thinks hes a good PL player and too good for the CCC, theres no way hed drop to L1. Hes too arrogant. This from the poster who supports a team whose stripes are the wrong way round and make their players look fat. (And supporters for that matter - trust me, I know: I live dangerously close to that odd little shed opposite the beeb) Perhaps Lita might have taken a slight hint after being released by a slowly fading CCC club for the dizzying fee of £0. Anyway, you may be right - but don't come on here ruining our dreams.
Arizona Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 What a signing he'd be. Would be good for him too. If we can keep Rasiak too we'd have a great strike force. The idea of having Lita, Rasiak, Saga and Lallana available up front should be enough to get people through the gates on its own. Unfortunately I have doubts any of them will be here next season. This is all a bit Karsten Janker if you ask me.

Ewell Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 What a signing he'd be. Would be good for him too. If we can keep Rasiak too we'd have a great strike force. I totally agree. Rasiak or Stern John partnered with Lita would be awesome in league 1 and if we get promoted to The Championship. The strike force is the most important part of the team and with this kind of line-up I can see us making the play offs this season!
benjii Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 I can fully believe he would come for talks. Whether he wants to sign or not in light of other ofers he may have remains to be seen. Much may depend on our wage structure - I wonder if we are prepared to pay players good Championship level wages to join us or not? If not, it would be hard to persuade someone like Lita to join, if he does indeed have offers from clubs such as Derby.

saint_ed Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 I think for many of us as soon as we saw Pardew was appointed and thoughts turned to signings, Lita was the first name in our thoughts.
