If that is really the case why is there nothing on any of the newswires/press? Surely a murder would have made front page: certainly for the Echo.

Hopefully it's not true....and perhaps if it's not true MB you will stop posting utter, utter s***e as you have been prone to do for quite a while now - either very gullible or making things up for a kick.

This was posted yesterday by Lordswoodsaints..... someone has to have it wrong...

Nobody was stabbed in yates yesterday or outside,I was in there last night and I know the bouncers and there wasn't any trouble all day in or around there......it may have happened elsewhere but I doubt it is true.

Obviously if true, terrible news!!!... But I was in Yates after the game watching WBA Newcastle and there certainly did not like a stabbing had occured five hours earlier. Dont believe it for a second.

There we have it. If someone had been stabbed in there, it would have been closed for the whole day, if not longer.

So did anyone see if Yates was cordoned off on Satuday and Sunday then? If it was the scene of a stabbing there would have been a huge police presence.

As I said in a previous thread, there was a lot of police outside Yates for most of the day, but seemed to me more so they could keep those inside Yates' apart from those coming down from Fat Cat way. I was in an office overlooking Above Bar, although admittedly there are few trees blocking a clear view of Yates. But I don't recall seeing an ambulance turn up - not before 4/5pm anyway (by which time, presumably, the majority of Millwall fans had scarpered back up to London).

Although I can't see why this would be made up, I can't believe the Echo wouldn't have pounced on this.... when that Man U fan was attacked in Southampton a while back and left in a bad way it was all over the press.

If this has happened then we would have absolutely known about it by now. The Police would have appealed for witnesses etc, the place WOULD have been shut, if not then then it would be by now. This would be a murder enquiry, there would be OB all over Yates and the press would be having a field day FOOTBALL VIOLENCE etc...

Please lock this thread as it is scaremongering at the highest level without any FACTS.

Could not agree more, the press would love to jump on this story and Millwall would provide the ideal scapegoat as they are so well known for this. As I have said I was in Yates after the game and there was definatly not a stabbing from my perception.
