Yes have two season tickets in the Northam and we brought the first day of sale and they put us in Itchen Centre block 7 (good seats). Northam was fully opened....BUT why as we sat with the flask bridge and the can we go a wee group. Give us the Northam anytime. Thank You

I think that originally they only expected to open the Itchen for this game, but the take up was much better and so a later decision was made to open the Northam.

We also sat in block 7 as opposed to our usual seats in the Chapel. I much prefer watching a game from behind the goal. But with a 7 yr old son we would not sit/stand in the Northam as he wouldn't be able to see if the people in front were standing and I don't want to expose him to some of the moronic chants which include swearing. In the Chapel I can usually insert alternative words for swear words when he asks 'what are they singing?'.

I just wish they had a corner or a block for all the adolescents, not sure how many times I had to keep getting up and down last night to let them through, as they just cant keep still. Most of the females were just eyeing the lads up and vice versa, be good to put them all in one place. :-)

Stood in the northam for a change. It was great. Except for the racist plank stood behind me who was slagging off Papa for being black. Unbelievable!

I sampled the top of block 13 in the 2nd half and it has made my mind up to exercise my right to move from the lower Itchen block 5 to the Northam/Kingsland corner. A great view and the team patterns are so much clearer.

Hmmm ..... Let the Team sit there then .... perhaps they would then get a better idea of "Team Patterns" themselves ..... with particular reference to their popular " Headless Chicken" pattern ...

Also had to sit in the Itchen block 5 and look enviously towards the Northam and those in our ST seats. The lower Itchen is like a morgue or a library. Nobody down there feels inclined to chant or sing and even clapping seemed to be too much effort for most.

Trust me, all you were missing was a swathe of chavs pre-copulating and a bunch of n0bbers intent on starting play-fights with their mates.

Chavs? That was me and Mrs Wurzel as you well know. (Didn't do me any good though she still had the bad back).

Seeing as the club is into making all these changes at the moment please can they sort an under-18s only section ( somewhere the other side of the railway would be good). I now know why songs from the Northam are 2 octaves higher than the old Itchen corner used to be .

Exactly what I said above it would be a good idea to put all 16 - 18's together in one stand.

In my feedback e-mail to the club, I asked if it would be possible to have adult only, or adult + accompanied kid (after all, it was the number of unaccompanied chavvy kids which was annoying) section for League Cup and JPT games.

Worth asking... especially as banning the annoying teens outright would have dropped the Northam attendance to about 12 people.

Putting them all in the Kingsland/Chapel corner would have been nice, they could have ironic hoodies, alcopops, Clearasil and condoms on sale in the concourse. Alcopop profits alone from a two hour binge drinking session could buy us a new player, though we'd probably have to spend it all on clearing up puke and putting out fires.

And the other side of the coin is to consider that although many are annoying little scrots, at least they do happen to realise that the purpose of their being there is actually to give vocal support to the team, to make some noise. I really do believe that the noise that they made when Torquay players took their penalties might well have been intimidating enough to have broken their concentration.

Imagine how it would have been had the Itchen main stand regulars been behind that goal doing their knitting and reading their books. We might well have lost that game because of the silence that would have accompanied the shoot-out. I wonder what it might need to stir them from their slumbers? Perhaps the only time that they grow excited is when they look down and realise that they ought to shout "House" or "Bingo" or whatever it is.

I'm pretty sure the noise had no bearing whatsoever on the penalties.

But the little scrotes are certainly experienced in making a nuisance of themselves, I'll give you that.

How do you know that it had no bearing on the result of the penalty shoot-out? Where do you stand on whether the noise made by fans is like a twelth man? If it makes no difference, then we might as all treat the game with the hushed reverence that seems to pervade the Bovril and blanket stands on three corners of the ground. From the peaceful environs of block 5, I detected a noticeable increase in volume, particularly before their player struck their fourth shot, the one that Kelvin saved. I remember thinking that it must have been like a bear pit, unnerving for the poor lad.
