LVSaint Posted 25 November, 2009 Share Posted 25 November, 2009 Anyone know where I can get to see the goals from tonight? I was relying on our Sky Sports News shows we get but the channel abandoned them in place of some Champ League crap. And no, I do not subscribe to Saints Player... Prince Jazzbo Posted 25 November, 2009 Share Posted 25 November, 2009 The highlights normally appear on BBC iplayer about 48 hours after the game.
Minty Posted 25 November, 2009 Share Posted 25 November, 2009 They'll be on the BBC website from midnight tonight, or early tomorrow morning. They always go up the second day after the game (hence Sat games go up Monday morning).

krissyboy31 Posted 25 November, 2009 Share Posted 25 November, 2009 I think Ricky's was the best of them all. I think he felt sorry for the goalie and decided to pass it back to him. Then when Flinders refused to pick it up, thought he had no choice but to put it in.

chrisobee Posted 26 November, 2009 Share Posted 26 November, 2009 Since the question of where to watch highlights comes up after every game maybe it is possible to have permanent links to the relevant sites, just a thought- I have them from time to time ! See the bloke in white behind the goal, he applaud's the goal. They said on Solent that many of the Hartlepool fans did this, fair play to them. RedAndWhite91 Posted 26 November, 2009 Share Posted 26 November, 2009 It's on it's own now, they're a little bit more extended than the one in the League One roundup - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8379578.stm Love how you can hear us singing the Lambert song just before their player gets sent off. ericofarabia Posted 26 November, 2009 Share Posted 26 November, 2009 Just watched them on Real Player. Lallana's 2nd goal really was a peach of a goal, his first wasn't too shabby either ... but he really does need to practice The Windmill a bit more. As stated else where bigger clubs will definitely come sniffing around in Jan, but his reaction to his 2nd goal, running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Saints fans and doing the Micky Channon Windmill shows he certainly holds the club close to his heart. (Funnily enough I meant to post on The Norwich build up fred, wouldn't it be nice if anybody who scores, regardless of which side celebrated with The Windmill seeing as the great man himself was there that day ... but i forgot ) As for the 3rd goal, Ricky looked totally embarressed after scoring it, seeing as he so nearly c*cked it up and was given a second bite at it by the keeper. Defo a contender for Goal of the season

Yes, it was a very bad challenge, though players of course should not react you can understand to a point why they did. That was a potentially leg breaking challenge. Defo a contender for Goal of the season I think if he had fallen over when he stumbled and ended up heading the ball in that would have been the icing on the cake !! ericofarabia Posted 26 November, 2009 Share Posted 26 November, 2009 That was after the first. Er .... no  His first was scored in front of the Saints fans and yes he also did The Windmill then, but after his superb 2nd at the other end in the 2nd half he ran the length of the pitch etc etc ..... unless Real Player have managed to get the goals shown in the wrong order

If he then decided to sprint off to the Saints end it would have looked a little odd.
Saint_clark Posted 26 November, 2009 Share Posted 26 November, 2009 Also, that's another two assists for Lambert in that game. That's around 24 goals either scored or created by him, isn't it?

RedAndWhite91 Posted 27 November, 2009 Share Posted 27 November, 2009 i think they meant harding for the header..? Just watched it again and I'm pretty sure it was Lallana with the header, he plays the ball into the centre then makes the run to the far post.
