CLOTH EARS Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 When we beat them 3-1 back in October he reckoned that they were the better side after they were pretty much outplayed in their 3-1 defeat. Last night he reckons we went OTT with our celebrations and he told the MK players to look at us, implying that we already think we are through. The guy quite clearly is a knob, we know and the players know its not game over, i really hope our players use his comments as a motivational tool and go out and rip them apart in the 2nd leg. St Chalet Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 TBF he has a point. We were cruising with 15 minutes to go with them creating little and us continually battering them on the counter attack. MS getting sent off changed all of that and at the end, we were hanging on and grateful to leave with the 1-0 lead. I am not sure there would be too many assistant managers going into a second leg away saying their team had been played off the park for 75 minutes. Toadhall Saint Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 Toss pot - they have been beaten by the better team on both occasions. My only regret is that the score line actually flatters them. The worst team I have seen this season in L1.

Block 5 Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 MK Dons = shyte team, shyte fans, shyte manager, shyte assistant manager. No matter how much he tries to motivate them, they will always be shyte.

beatlesaint Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 Yeah cos players going over to thank 3000 fans for travelling all that way on a Wednesday night in January is totally OTT isn't it ? What a pillock - if he is that desperate its pretty sad.

Arizona Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 doesnt it make you a bit miffed that even without the -10...we would only be around that shower of shyt in the league..!!!! Not really. The playoffs etc would be nice, but for me this season was about staying in existence, avoiding the drop and building for next season. All three are coming along nicely and a potential trip to Wembley would be a great bonus. I'll worry about being above the Dons next year.

Thedelldays Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 How's the long term memory loss? answer this.. do you think either or any of the following hope to just avoid the drop this season..if so, please tell show me where... Markus Cortese Pardew Lambert Harding Fonte Wilkins Hammond yep, everyone at the club seems to have ambition and are pretty much delivering a pretty good season for saints....they have moved well past the "we are lucky to survive" and giving it a real go on all fronts.... krissyboy31 Posted 21 January, 2010 Share Posted 21 January, 2010 I agree with the sailor boy, we are well past just being happy to have a club, time to move on. Me too! Still think the play-offs (although not impossible) are a bit beyond us but I would be disappointed not to be in the top 10, if not top 8 and above the likes of Milton Keynes. Obviously you always want to aim higher. If we were third at the moment, would you just be aiming to finish in the top 6? Right now I would hope we can get near the playoffs, but if we don't and end up mid table, I wont lose any sleep this summer.

Badger Posted 22 January, 2010 Share Posted 22 January, 2010 Agreed he is a knob. But why is he talking to the press etc ? What is the charlatan Incey-wincey up to these days ? Perhaps he did not make it to the match as he was previously booked as part of a Kid Creole tribute band.
