Sour Mash Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 Does anyone know if they can still be purchased for the rest of the season? Any gues on prices ... I guess about £165??? Good thinking. Think a few might try this, gives you a good deal on tickets for the rest of the year and priority for the Skates game.
SB Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 Half season tickets from 160 I think, which was my plan until I realised I'm away :/
sotonjoe Posted 24 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 24 January, 2010 Well, a mate and I are in an odd situation where we've been buying tickets for all home games (league and cups) since the beginning of december, and a few games earlier in the season. However, we've either purchased them on the day or through my online account. The upshot is that all our purchases won't be logged / linked and we'll struggle for MK Dons, JPT Final, Pompey - and, dare I say it? - playoff tickets together. We're in a position where we're probably going to go to the vast majority of the home league games left so if we can buy season tickets, save money and ensure the 'hard to come by' tickets, it should be a no-brainer. I can't see why the ticket office won't sell season tickets, but I wondered if anyone had just purchased one so might know the price.

Still a fair saving over paying £25 per game for the rest of the season.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 Considering the football we've been playing this season it's a great idea to pick up a season ticket. I've enjoyed this season more than any since we moved to St Marys, at times we've played some fantastic stuff, score plenty of goals, win a load of games and in with a very realistic chance of some silverware not much more you can ask for really. StD Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 from this I assume half-season tickets are available until at least Friday... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1929167,00.html P*mpey ticket details should announced this week - 1 ticket per season ticket holder, no problem, 2 tickets per season ticket holder I'll probably get the half season ticket (even though I may only make another 2/3 home games). alehouseboys Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 Get yer half-STs you know it makes sense. Worth it just to guarantee a skate ticket...aswell as a JPT Wembley one... Double-bubble.
StuRomseySaint Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 £175 for the Northam and YES they are still available. The club need to push this big time over the next 5 days, the security of a guaranteed ticket for the derby could easily sell another

Block 5 Posted 24 January, 2010 Share Posted 24 January, 2010 How many of those people would actually then go to league games though? I'm sure someone would. If your mate had a ST and wasn't going to a game, how easily could you get someone to take his place?

Still my £199 ticket would still work out at less than £19 per game. So I'd save £6 per game and still get guaranteed cup / playoff tickets. 100%Red&White Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Plastics back then I see. Or encourage those who felt it wasn't necessary to get one in this division, how it now makes sense for so many reasons and, if you're reading Mr Luker, a great opportunity to re-open Blocks 1 and 2 and make it even more appealing! Shroppie Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Won't be able to make many games, but have bought one anyway. Worth it to get to key games, and also a small gesture of thanks to ML for saving our club.
Block 5 Posted 25 January, 2010 Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Just got mine. have bought one anyway. This is great! Make sure that if you can't make it to future league games, you give your ticket to someone who can get to SMS and make some noise. (Preferable a chav with an air horn - hopefully your seat is in the Kingsland or the Chapel?)
sotonjoe Posted 25 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Right, I'm going to go and get a couple in the morning. One question though ... is it simple enough to buy my own, but also a second for a friend using their details? What details will the club need for me to do this? Just name, dob and address etc? I know I could just buy two in my name, but I want my mate to have his own ticket with his own name on etc.
sotonjoe Posted 25 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 25 January, 2010 and does the ticket office really not open until 9pm??? Would it be nice if they could open one window from 8am perhaps, for the pre-work crowd.

sotonjoe Posted 25 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 25 January, 2010 Or you could just phone up and pay over the phone ( there are no fees on Season ticket purchase ) thanks stu, but i've got two sets of tickets I've already preordered that I want to sort a refund on at the same time. I was concerned that the 'hotline' is outsourced and that I won't speak directly to the ticket office. Do you know if that's the case or not? If I can do a refund on my preorder tickets at the same time via the hpone, I'll save myself the early morning!

StDunko Posted 26 January, 2010 Share Posted 26 January, 2010 Got 2 today, one for me and one for the old man. In the Chapel though, the Northam is a bit much for him! I would have thought the club has shifted a few more than expected due to the JPT and Poopey games.
sotonjoe Posted 26 January, 2010 Author Share Posted 26 January, 2010 I am a mug. I arrived at the ticket office at 8am and stood for an hour in the freezing cold. The only thing I could do to try and stay sane was count ... I made it to just over 1200 by 8:55am when other people joined the queue and the ticket office open. On the plus side, I got two pairs of tickets refunded and purchased two half-season tickets with MK Dons tickets to match. By 9:05, all windows of ticket office one were in action and serving customers. I had to chuckle at people's attitude when told that seating wasn't available in key blocks unless they wanted to go right to the front or right to the back. The amount of people questioning if the staff were sure there weren't four seats available together in the middle of block 19 etc amazed me. Hats off to the ticket office staff who must get sick and tired of us fans and our stupid questions all day long and thanks to Gavin for sorting out my potentially confusing refunds and purchases.
