I almost forgot.

A 12.15 am Kick Off

Note that for those of us coming in via Mountbatten Way or The Avenue, there are 4 big cruise ships scheduled for this Saturday and this may cause delays, especially along West Quay/Platform Road.

Fortunately most cruise passengers don't start arriving until 12.00 but there are always some who arrive early, so be aware.

ooohhhhh the season is about to start, I Can't F*ckin wait. I haven't been this excited for years. the future is so bright...Its white (with a red sash).

no "gelling" to be done & no excuses* for the coming season. I expect a flying start.

C'MON SAINTS - for once live up to my exceptions.

here's the Argyle build up thread, found through - MLG's site - i think

I liked....

My fairly safe prediction is that whatever the score, some people will read far too much into it
My heart says 3 - 1, my head says 1-1

Delighted it's on tv, I'll be watching it in Ballina, Mayo... there was a rumour that another Saints fan was seen there once, if your on here pm me.

>>edit, sorry I missed the build up thread

Think I'll know whether to be excited or nervous when I see the team sheet. How long before kick off does it usually come out? Usually in the pub...

Are you suggesting AP does his pre match Team Talk and team selection over a few beers just hours before the kick off :scared:

Blimey, I thought the rumours about Burley's antics were bad, but this harps back to our "Ale House Brawler Days" ... love it ... bring it on.

I'm passing up on the chance to see my first 'first game of the season' in order to go on an all day drinking binge. Part of me regrets my decision already, the fact it's on Sky swayed that decision. I'll make it up to SFC through the season, I promise. :-)

Looking forward to the season, the transfer activity may not have impressed some, but for me, keeping on to the star players from last season was more important that bringing anyone new in anyway. So far we've managed to do that, I hope Cortese sticks a rifle up the nose of anyone inquiring.

I'm a little apprehensive about our season, we all expect success, getting promotion with flair, but as long as we do get promoted, I don't care if we grind out ugly 1-0 wins every game. The key is being in the nPC in August 2011, no matter how we achieve it.

Speaking of ugly 1-0 wins, that's my prediction now for Saturday. It'll be a tough game, no doubt, and with a few of our players out, it may be tougher than we think. But, it will be a good test of our character too, an unbeaten home record this season would really give us a fantastic chance of making the top two. I hope and pray SMS is our fortress this season.

I reckon Lambert, Punch and Morgan will be back, Reid was at the Reading game and it seems to coincidental.

Would be lovely if Lallana is back too

May i be the first to say

COYRAFOSOS

I spoke to Morgan and Rickie on Monday at the Eastleigh game. Morgan said he'd be back in training the next day (Tuesday) and Rickie said he'd 'hopefully' be ok for Saturday.
