Nexstar Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Now up on Saintsplayer. I hadn't realised how good all of the goals were - no headers, set-pieces or own goals, all were well worked goals from open play. Some lovely finishes in there too, Guly's and Chaplow's with special mentions.

Saint Garrett Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Some absolutely superb long balls were played yesterday. Some crackers there from Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Fonte and people may say that Lambert isn't as good as he was last year, but if he doesnt score, he normally has something to do with the goal. saints-cris Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Loving Chambo's Fifa celebration, first goal was class. We just carved them apart with each goal. Just me or did the long diagonal ball seem to case them no end of trouble in those highlights.
trousers Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I must say, Oldham didn't look at the races. That of course could have been down to us playing them out of the game rather than them having an off day per se....
Liquidshokk Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Great cross by Chaplow towards the end to pick out Guly... We looked amazing. Equally Oldham looked a pile of cr@p. I really hate the commentary over the top of the away highlights though. The guy trying to make it sound like it was recorded at the time and not dubbed over afterwards. "You get a feeling oldham wont get back into this" well durr, you know they dont as it was yesterday. Cant actually hear the noise from the match either. Much prefer the radio commentary over the top.

It's so fantastic to see that he is back in great form. Not necessarily always with goals, but with great build up play.
hypochondriac Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Just get someone who has an account to screen capture the video. That's what I do. All Saints player videos saved on my external hard drive so can view when I like. Fancy uploading for me?

The radio commentary works really well, I'm sure it'd only take the editing team a little longer to whack it in. Still a great feature though. JustinR Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I liked the body language of the strikers when the other ones scored...all seemed really pleased for each other, including Barney, who must feel he's not in the first XI

Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Great to see the goals, but as good was seeing the obvious team spirit which will go a very long way to seeing us promoted.
