Including, starting next Saturday, 5 games in 15 days. Then a break, then 3 in a week.

Let us hope the team are not April Fools and their performances are Above Average.

This month will define our season and and probably next as well, hugely significant for the Club and All of us As Ardent Aficionados!

No time for Animosity, All for One and One for All!

Make the most of it, the footballless summer months will bring boredom aplenty.

This is true. It will be miles less boring if we go up though.

Massive amounts of speculation on new signings, instead of bracing ourselves for losing players and general misery.

Promotion is absolutely key.

What is your reasoning behind this statement?

1/ Something Alpine said in the other thread, when we have played our games in hand we have averaged 0.5 points per game (Charlton, Walsall).

2/ I also think we have played quite nervously, particulary against teams in the bottom half of the table. (plymouth, walsall, tranmere ect)

3/ If Lallana or Chamberlain are out for several games it will make it all that much harder.

4/ When I say it needs the others to slip up I mean the Likes of Huddersfield not winning 6 of their last seven games. That will leave us needing 8 wins out of 10 which I can't see us doing.

Its all about which team has the most bottle and confidence from now. A win against MK Dons and slip ups for the other two this week end will make me feel a bit easier.

I agree that confidence is an issue but also complacency. On lower league teams we often don't approach them with the intensity that we should. However, I take confidence from say Sheff Wed where they came and parked the bus in front of the goal and we managed to break them down. That is a tactic that previously we have struggled with.

PS. I don't think an average over two games has much credability.

Well, here we are, today the start of a huge month and tomorrow the start of a big week. Let us hope we are here on Sunday May 1st, a notable day for all of us, basking in the glow of a run of wins, sat in 2nd place, with promotion still in our own hands, looking forward to the last two games and a celebration at SMS!

Just want to get on with it and get the job done, time going too slow!

If we win the next 8 games I'd like us to be top, to be honest. :D

We need 19 points to be guaranteed a Play-Off Place, anyway. That total will drop every time Leyton Orient (or the teams around them) drop points or we gain them. That could be sorted within 2 weeks though.
