Good Morning Saints!

Another hugely important day for both our teams where anything other than 3pts will throw the situation back into the mix, although it has to be said, you're well and truly in the driving seat at the moment.

In a way it's a pity that it's come to this but then again I expect you'll have a full house today bursting with anticipation an excitement, which can't be bad. If your result had gone in our favour on Saturday I dare say our crowd would have been pretty good too but as it stands I reckon the floating cynics will stay in the pubs and bars.

I think Brighton, yourselves and us actually do deserve to be promoted this season so can I say, whoever makes it automatically, congratulations and the team that enters the play-offs lottery - Good Luck!

Have a great day!:D

No, what a load of totally unbelievable tosh.

Started out as an OK and believable sentiment until the concept that HTFC have

floating cynics

We all know that Saints are the only team in the world to have those

If you DO go the playoff route, just make sure you ruin Bompey's season. They had deserved to go up until they showed they share the same small town attitude as Brighton

Hi thanks (i think) . The Daggers will be fighting for survival today, so i dont think you will have it to easy! As for Brighton[sic] if your players can find a ball, stop Poyet sending your players off on the ref's behalf, and have Vodafone "stop the clock" lol You might get a positive result!!

Have a great day yourselves! :D

AND MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN! ;)

Cheers Acetripper. Personally I hope whoever finishes 3rd goes up, I hate play offs and think its a totally unfair way of doing things.

Does seem a bit unfair that a team that gets 15/16 more points than the 6th placed team in the regular season can lose out in the lottery.Sort of negates 5 or 6 wins and makes playing percentage football the way to go if you're not very good. I mean if by any chance say Exeter got promoted instead of Huddersfield via the play-offs that would be a travesty of justice.Means you can just about obtain promotion by winning all of your home games and losing all but 3 or 4 of your away games.

It's a shame Hudders and us both can't go up auto instead of arrogant, petulant, stupid, infantile, moronic Brighton. Best wishes Ace Tripper!

Brighton do need to go up though, their investment merits it,hope they get decent crowds next season though because 8000 in the NPC would be rank.

If we have to have playoffs, the team finishing 3rd should go straight to the final.

Anyway, hope we go up automatically and town win the playoffs, as they have had a fantastic run...and most mrs teamsaint's family are from there.

Also, town are below their "proper" level in L1.

Agree with the sentiments Acetripper. The pressure that we've both been exerting on each other, will mean whoever gets over the line to the automatic spot will have thoroughly deserved it!

Have to say I hope its us of course, but the run you've been on has been nothing short of phenomenal & I hope we are playing each other again next year in the NPC with HTFC winning the play-off's.

Also agree with teamsaint I think there should be a bigger advantage for league places. A series of one off games 5th place (home) to 6th to see who plays 4th(home) in the semi-final then winners to play 3rd place in the final would be a little fairer IMHO.

i believe theyve sold over sixteen thousand season tickets already

Hmmmmmm I've looked at the prices, very varied. Still with the monthly option I guess they're pretty affordable to most.

I don't doubt that our STs will be suimilarly priced when we get promotion.Minimum about £390 for adults and £550'ish maximum.

That would be quite a price hike for us I think.

I once wanted them to go up as they'd have an exciting future. That's changed, I can't stand them now. Their infrastructure merit it but their fans certainly don't.

Above all not Rochdale to be promoted anyway. Their average home gate must be about 4000, they just couldn't afford a side for the NPC on that.

There should be a minimum gate for each division.

I take it that's a joke? So Wimbledon who spent years in the top flight, won the FA Cup and who would have qualified for Europe if not for the ban shouldn't have been allowed in that league because they regularly had only 5000 watching them.

Part of the new terms & conditions on registration, is that people are made fully aware that you wear the trousers around here Deppo

I don't think Trousers would be happy with that, though.

OOOHH ERR Missus.

It's all this Brighton talk leading us to include the love that dare not speak it's name.

Huddersfield fans really seem like a decent bunch and a 22 (?) game unbeaten run really deserves promotion. Saying that, hopefully you'll lose the next two games then go up in the play-offs ;)

Football has changed since then though.Players' salaries have become so much higher .Saints used to stay in the PL on Dell Gates because players like Dodd and Benali were good enough to keep them there and didn't demand exhorbitant amounts, you could still unearth gems like Pahars for less than a million and they'd stay for 4/5 years on reasonable pay.Wouldn't still happen that way now.
