Could the man behind Cortese be Markus' brother Willi Liebherr?

It is Willi and Isolade Liebherr that run this company...

If it is him, maybe he'd like to invest along with his brother's estate in Saints.

Does anyone have any other photos of the directors box from Saturday? ;)

I think the last time they came was for a 5.15 kick off. maybe they can't get to games for a 3pm KO? i have no idea but didn't see them on saturday or the car outside the front that they usually arrive in and leave there. might be wrong but their absence does concern me in that they may pass ownership to some1 else, but NC says there is a back-up plan so I don't believe there will be any major consequences even if the Liebherr's do leave.

I have been told by a reliable source that the family want to sell club. Cortese of course doesn't want to sell and is looking for other options. If course, he must have a contract aswell that is set in stone. Probably be tough for them to buy him out of this. Obviously, the money that he us said to be getting and probably will increase now we are up, I expect cortese wouldn't want them to sell. However, even if they do want to sell it's tough to find anyone to buy a football club at mo. Newcastle couldn't find a buyer and they are in prem. I obv am a little bit concerned.

Jesus, can we not have anything good happen to the club without sOmeone spouting nonsense? And as asked above, who is your 'reliable source' and what exactly have they been reliable with in the past?

How come? Wasn't it only very recently that Cortese confirmed the families commitment?

that's a good point which i believed at the time but then looking back he couldn't have said anything else. "they want to sell" = an unnecessary distraction = potentially not getting promoted. a white lie would have been the obvious thing to do in Cortese's position. I'm far from certain they will sell but at the same time I'm just saying that I don't think we can be certain that they will stay.

exactly. he was hardly going to come and rock the boat by saying that they want to sell. if we didn't go up we would be even less attractive to potential buyers so he had to keep everybody together and pushing for promotion.

I can confirm the club not for sale and will not be for sale any time soon. I too have a reliable source who just told me this ;) so lets put to bed all these **** stirring rumours right now shall we. Lets enjoy the summer and celebrate and not sit around worrying that our club is up for sale.
