Damn, I was hoping for a Kevin Keegan overhead kick.

NOTE TO SELF - MUST STOP LIVING IN THE PAST WHEN WE HAD A CLUB TO BE PROUD OF.

I am living in the past. Keep having nightmares that we lose Gordon Starachan as our manager and replace him with an untried League 1 nobody that resembles Wurzell Gummidge.

Trouble is the nightmare is endless and gets worse and worse.

I think that if we were to win today, it could provide the foundation for our season to kick off, as we would of not only once again beaten a top side, it will prove to the players that they can win at home. The dismal home trend will end for sure! and points will be gained.

COYR!!!!

True, I won't get much reassurance from a win today. It will merely keep us from going into the new year 'not bottom'.

It will be merely papering over the cracks, keep Jan as the gaffer, and no doubt be hailed as something it isn't by the OS,Jan and the players.

Good result it would be f'sure, but the spin from the club would be over the top, to say the least.
