Big_Bald_Si Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 Mods - can we have a poll on this one please? As a loyal season ticket holder, you can imagine that every other weekend is completely ruined by our inability to win at home. Will I have any weekends to cheer about following a trip to St Marys? I'm going with one more win. I'm not confident.
saints_is_the_south Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 1 more win at home for, possibly against Charlton. Away i can't see us picking up many points, got some hard games coming up (Bristol C, Birmingham, Wolves...etc)
St Marco Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 7 of our 9 home games are against teams in the top 10 chasing promotion. I think we might beat Charlton and Derby, massive games for us. Every game is massive now really.
VectisSaint Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 I would think it will be 1 or more, though with the current plonker in charge, 1 would probably be the best bet.
Andy_Porter Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 Depressing topic but probably 1-3, realisticly we need to win 5+ but we probably won't. The only way we're going to stay up is if we can keep up our away from while grinding out draws at home and hoping there are 3 teams worse than us which is a possibility since there are so many **** teams in the league. saint1977 Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 I reckon we'll win 1 more at home, which is obviously not enough.
sfc6mufc3 Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 to be honest I don't think we will win again this season at home. I thought we'd beat Forest when they were below us, and we didn't I thought we'd beat Donny when they were below us, and we didn't What's to say we'd beat Charlton?? I certaily dont think we'd beat anybody of note.

Arizona Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 I am going to say 2 more, but our "surge" in home form will be at the cost of our away form and we wont move up the table.

Spudders Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 What's to say we'd beat Charlton?? I don't think we'll win against Charlton at home. How many times do we do other teams a favour with their poor runs. My mate is a Charlton fan and I said to him weeks ago that I thought that game will be the game that sends us down Although at this rate we'll be down before then after the administration points deduction

SimonRichards Posted 23 January, 2009 Share Posted 23 January, 2009 I think we might beat Charlton and Derby. I thought we might of beat Notts Forest & Doncaster. We have only won one home match this season and I've only missed one match at home this season, and guess what... It was the same bloody match.
