I'm amazed the club don't employ him as a shooting coach because there's nobody better. Watched him select his top ten goals and he went through them explaining the different techniques. Ok most players are not going to come close to his high standards but surely he could improve our strikers.

Just being very good at something doesn’t by default make you good at teaching it. Very often it’s quite the opposite as people struggle to relate to students who simply do not have the natural talent that they’ve always had.

TBH I’m not even sure there is such thing as a shooting coach, specifically.

You wouldn’t see any other Premier League club have him anywhere near media, marketing, or whatever this technical advisor job is supposed to be. Because of all the deranged views he’s come out with since 2020.

I think it all started with claims about Bill Gates assassinating the Tanzanian president, and then it spiralled into conspiracy theories involving Anne Frank and war scenes in Ukraine being staged and much more. You get warned twice about your conduct on social media, as it’s written in your Sky Sports employment contract. You ignore all that because you believe the world is being taken over by rich people and the WEF, putting everyone into some sort of communist prison.

Losing your job, you then don’t seek help but instead double down and continue to act in a totally irresponsible way, daughter has to be taken out of private school into a public one due to money troubles.

When I saw him at Wembley, front and centre in 2024 for the play-off final, I thought, “Hello, what’s going on here?” It then transpired that the new CEO, Phil Parsons, was associated with Glenn Cockerill, and so that’s exactly why Le Tissier was then all over the marketing and sitting in the directors’ box.

I would say Phil Parsons has totally compromised his position by being one of the lads and playing for ex-Saints numerous times. I mean, there’s no way Parsons can say he hasn’t seen the ramblings from Matt Le Tissier over the last five years, as—like today—it’s all over the national newspapers.

Parsons of course has been told about him and the actions of Adam Lallana and hes ignored all of it.
