I don’t know if it’s particularly an acid test as it’s a demanding period of away games around then. 10 days after Hull we’re away to Sheff Utd midweek and 3 days later back up to Derby.

That’s a lot of miles and time on the road over a couple of weeks so understandable if fans will be a bit more selective on away games. If we’re seeing sell-outs (or near enough) for those then that will speak volumes of our travelling support.

A workmate booked tickets for the skates yesterday and said there was still over 1500 tickets left (again half of them in the blocks either side of the aways). A bit surprising.

It does sound like this is selling quite slowly, high prices and Sunday midday ko with no trains going into Central will be putting some off as well. They are changing criteria from tomorrow

I for one am waiting for general sale. I’m not being a membership which isn’t really needed in this league, especially with the club making this the most expensive game of the season which is insulting if you take the rivalry out of the equation.

I’d said before that having categories for any game in this league is a joke.

No trains? Is that engineering works? Blimy the bus won't get there in time.

Genuinely surprised how many Hull tickets had been sold when i logged in today, does make me wonder if people saw an opportunity to drop £4 on a junior ticket to get away numbers up with no intention of using it

I think there's less sold than you might think. When I looked earlier at least 2 large blocks weren't on sale

My understanding is you can only buy an away ticket in the same price bracket as your season ticket.

So someone with an adult season ticket cannot buy a concessionary ticket for themselves.

I've only ever bought tickets for myself that i go on (or mates who also go) so didn't realise that but that's good to know.

Yeah it's quite tight on that, remember years ago we played Wigan away 2012 I think. Was kid a quid , we took 4k up there and apparently 1/4 were u16s 🤣 lots of generous uncles buying for their nephews I think.

I wanted to take one of my kids to an away last year, had to buy them an adult ticket as only qualifying numbers I or mates had were adult ones and couldn't change to an u16

Still Hull deserve a lot of credit for the pricing, £24 adult and £4 for kid is how it should be

Hull City away goes on sale to season ticket holders with no aways at 9.30am this morning, still some available for those who haven't had a chance to get to an away game yet this season

Perhaps it’s not “decent” enough for those that were complaining they never get a chance to get an away ticket.

Skates still not sold out. Surprised they've not opened it up to STH additional yet.

Have they put their tickets on sale yet does anyone know?

Not according to my Portsmouth mates they haven’t yet .

I think the club overestimated the demand for this game. In reality tickets are expensive (unnecessary to make it category A*) and it's logistically a pain for a lot of fans to get to , midday on a sunday with no trains. If you bought a £30 membership and a ticket in block 29 next to away fans for £55 + £1.50 ticket tax that's a huge amount to pay out for a game that's on itv.

Last I heard there was still over 1000 tickets remaining nearly all either side of away end

It's going to be laughably shite in the Chapel for that game.

Club tried to flog extra memberships for it and it's backfired massively.

Going to be interesting to see what we charge them , I reckon it will be £40 to match what our fans pay in corners and how much they get charged for compulsory travel. They'll probably have to meet at Fratton ridiculously early as well

As of today there are 600 tickets left for the skates, 1200 home seats left for Stoke on Saturday and just 18 left for the cup game away at Norwich. Don't thank me.......

We've shifted a few last few days for Skates then, club will probably leave it on sale to just members if it's that close to a sell out.

Stoke will be about 29k attendance then with lower away following as well,  surprised they don't bring more with the free travel provided.

Norwich - fantastic numbers sold 👏

Expect there will be a few empty seats, I’ve bought a ticket but still unsure if I can actually make it.

Enjoyed this from the FAQs on their website

Can I bring a musical instrument to the game?
Southampton will not permit musical instruments within the stadium.

Is there a FAQ "am I allowed to piss on the seats?"

I see the blue few are up in the arms about the ticket price, but it's the same price for home fans as well... we'll be charging all Category A away teams the same

They're actually better off than home fans, whole away bit £40 same as our corners but some of their seats would be in "flank" that we are paying £45 for.

£22.50 for enforced travel seems steep. Bit of a shit away day really

Think he got banned for being a sex pest in the women's toilets, no idea if he's allowed back in now. The bigger question is do they still have peado corner?

They've rebranded their Peado corner now , it's just called the Fratton End

When I first saw that picture I thought it had to be a photoshop,  truly captures their fanbase perfectly

What i love is how they run around telling everyone they're double hard terrifying fans who everyone fears and respects. But the reality is they're inbred weirdos, who's most famous fan is an antiquarian bookseller with hygiene issues and they had a nonce corner with soft toys.

Absolute fucking joke of a club and it's almost embarrassing we have that shit stain scabbing city so close to ours.

Perfectly put 👏 the soft toys and mannequin in nonce corner should be put on display outside Fratton for eternity to remind them

They're really angry at the ticket price even though it's the same as cheapest home end , foaming at the mouth just at the mention of the facking scummers

The frothing about ticket prices is quite funny, you can tell the precious little petals have been fucking shit for years.

Saying that, the £22.50 for enforced travel is a joke. I’m of the opinion that Hants OB should provide free travel for both sets of away fans seeing as they’re so desperate to ruin the away day for everyone.

Not true. Wrexham was category A and we charged their fans £30.

Skates is category A* , it's the only home league game that will have this pricing. It's as much a stitch up for our fans as it is for them , they will pay £40 in block 28, we pay £55 in block 29

It's not a booking fee, its a cleaning fee for that lot. 🧼

I agree , should be put on as part of the policing operation.

I'm still not sure how they're going to park enough coaches for 2700 fans south of the Chapel , logistics will be interesting to get them in and out. Probably keep them in at the end as well.

Yep blocks 27/28 for them should be £45 really to match up with ours. The prices are a complete embarrassment really and definitely a piss take by the club for us also as you say.

I found it interesting that they're doing more than one pick up point for the coaches this time rather than making them all go to the stadium. Including one at Winchester of all places.

Hopefully we do the same for fans who don't live in the city in January.

Plenty of room in the industrial estate surely? Be funny if there wasn't and they had to park a couple elsewhere and do a small escort to the 'sterile area'.

Do think the sterile area will be much harder to control at that end though, in particular on the marine parade side unless they're going to stick the fencing up on the path.

Pricing is a joke to be fair, even if it is those dirty cunts down the road. Having 4 tiers of ticket tiers in the championship is ridiculous, we should be embarrassed to be here let alone choosing teams on interest level.
