How many times do we have to ask the same questions about the bloke. I don’t care that he’s Captain, he’s not fucking good enough, never has been and never will be. Apart from the occasional blip where he has a good game or two he’s just crap. I genuinely don’t get how he’s survived at this club for so long.

Couldn’t agree more. Every season I think I won’t have to see him next season but like that turd that just won’t flush he’s still there.

He had to be, to avoid being too embarrassed..

It's not even being a better player: for the last goal tonight his challenge was so unconvincing. You don't have to be a good player to commit yourself. It's a basic at any level.

But funny how all his haters have suddenly found their voice again & climbed out the woodwork having been quiet for the 2nd half of last season.

Performances like we have seen this season are simply not going to pass without comment. It would be ridiculous if so

It possibly happens when the team overall is not playing well allowing the opposition to attack strongly so putting intense pressure on the defence

Football is a team game when the team plays well most of the players play well

Who is playing well this season you tell me cannot be easy playing in the Championship another season with better teams when they should have gained promotion last season and the better players have left or may be going

It is going to be interesting to see what happens in the next month or so

In the second half of last season he had THB alongside him and two of Jander, Downes and Charles in front of him. Plus Bree was playing out of his skin and Manning was tracking back.

He's exposed more this season and his qualities are more on display. Him and Wood are not a great partnership at the best of times and their slow recycling of the ball means the players in front of them stop making runs.

Even at his best he's a decent squad player. Making and keeping him as captain is mental.

He's always been a liability waiting to happen. For him a good fame is not passing the ball straight to the opposition.  His positioning and command of the defence is an example in how not to do it. 

I have always been consistent in my opinion of him.
