What are current ticket sales looking like? I’ve got tickets through my hospitality season tickets but can’t view the page so hoping someone can enlighten me as need to purchase more on Monday.

Normally quite low during the summer holidays or struggle with sales.

Colchester showed as "sold out" on Friday , not sure for Watford but as that one is digital tickets that are not transferable will be interesting to see how low it goes , obviously will sell out easily but will impact people who used to buy for mates etc

I’m hopeful that more of our away tickets will be digital and that you won’t be able to transfer them. 

This will stop fans buying away tickets then suddenly are unable to attend just to get the away credit.

By clamping down on this more fans can get away tickets on their own account, might even see the number of away games required at the start of sales drop over time. 
 

Colchester has sold out but I dare say several fans have only got a ticket to get the credit as it was cheap. 
 

incidentally both my Watford ticket and my Stoke home tickets are available in my ticket app.

I've gone for the Colchester hospitality ticket for £55, which includes a seat on the half way line plus a 3-course meal.

No chance Colchester will sell out the home end, surprised they didnt give us more to boost the attendance a bit. 

West Ham at home the same day impacts their attendance, Skates still banging on about taking 9000 up to the Hammers , Waterloo will be full of them

Colchester has sold out but I dare say several fans have only got a ticket to get the credit as it was cheap.

I agree with you for the main reason but would be good if you could have 2 or 3 times a season where you can transfer a ticket short notice if due to circumstances you can't make it, but by transferring you lose the away credit , would help stop seats being left empty and still put off those who just buy to sell on

You know there’s a single way of transferring away tickets. Probably more  applicable for trusted mates and family etc. Saints app. Username and password. Login.

Other than it’s not sold out yet . Down to 6 alway credits . Seems the digital tickets may have put a few off as I’m certain this would have sold out by now.

Watford going quite low, I assume due to the digital tickets. Lincoln will be interesting as we’ll only get 1200 and it’ll be a new ground for most.

Also possible that Lincoln might be paper tickets if they still operate that way, if so will sell out to very high away numbers , Wrexham coming up as well was paper tickets last season for another small allocation

Lincoln will sell out to high numbers regardless I reckon. New ground for most and the smallest allocation in the league.

Totally disagree- might give some others an opportunity to go rather than the same old people purchasing them despite having no interest in going. Not agreed with much the club have done of late but fully support them on this.

There's already plenty of opportunity to go, away tickets were actually pretty easy to get last season outside of the smallest allocations. 

There are ways round it anyway. I know a few people who have bought a cheap smartphone to log into the app and will pass that among friends.

Out of the 1200 for Lincoln I wonder how many will be blocked out for corporate requests / player comps / regional supporter clubs? How do they distribute tickets with the app requirements?

Lincoln away tickets are eTickets, at least for Portsmouth fans they are, so assume the same for us.

Yeah for all the complaints about people buy tickets to sell the blocks booked out for corporate/club were far more of an issue to people getting tickets. I'd hazard a guess that the people buying tickets to sell is probably less than a hundred (in fact i wouldn't be surprised if it's less than a score), but those blocks can add up to easily a couple of hundred from an allocation.

What I don't understand is that for those holding Saints Membership, you could always get away tickets for premier league games (when we were in the premier league the time before last). Now, away tickets hardly ever go on sale to Saints Members. Even this Watford game didn't reach Saints membership whereas five years ago for the same fixture and allocation, there was a huge choice of seats for Saints members. Something has happened to our fanbase.

There is no altruism happening here. SFC have only gone to the Eticket system to make their life easier. I can't see touts making a killing on a Saints/Watford game, so why not make tickets transferable among registered Saints fans?

They definitely seemed to increase that allocation last season.

Was bad throughout but Wrexham especially was a pisstake given how small the whole allocation was, felt like there was loads of unfamiliar faces there who were at their first away of the season.

Hopefully Lincoln in September is slightly less appealing than Wrexham at the business end of the season but we'll have to wait and see.

Skates was dreadful too if I remember rightly.

Yeah but for some teams "e tickets" is just an email with a PDF ticket (i think Skates do that) which is nice and easy to share with a mate on WhatsApp, I would say our access via an official Saints app makes it much harder to share tickets

Yeah I think they've done a temporary extension of sorts to allow them to split the away end and give the minimum instead of what they gave last season. Means some of the away tickets are in a temporary stand.

Speaking of away allocations and Millwall will be smaller this season as they're splitting that end with home fans now.
